Mosquito Bomber, one of the most legendary bombers in WWII history.
Its initial design principle was based on the idea of "trading speed for survival," aiming to create an aircraft that was light enough, fast enough, and had sufficient payload and attack capability.
However, in subsequent optimizations, reducing the demand for strategic materials also became one of the design requirements of this bomber.
Because of this, after iterating through several schemes and with the support of the Royal Air Force and the Air Force Department, this aircraft was finally born.
Under the extreme lightweight concept, this aircraft eliminated all unnecessary components, even omitting defensive weapons.
In the initial version, it was equipped with only a single Napier Sabre engine of 2000 horsepower, with a payload of only 450 kilograms, but its range could reach 2400 kilometers.
