Silas wiped at the blood staining his finger without once breaking eye contact with his wife.
In the end, he lifted the marked cloth up before waving it in plain sight for her half-lidded eyes to behold.
"Now, you are forever and completely mine," he stated.
Utterly out of breath and eyes practically flickering shut, Arabella continued to squirm until he put the cloth down and laid by her side.
"I think a break is a must," his eyes studied every inch of her sweltering, naked body.
"You do not wish to continue," eyebrows high up her forehead, she half asked, her voice meek and sickly sweet.
"How dare you even suggest that I wish to stop?" his glare turned colder before quickly mellowing when noting the apprehension in her gaze, "Of course I want to continue. I want to go as far as my body allows, but… I know for a fact that it will be much further than yours will go," he smiled, his fingers brushing the rebellious hairs that clung to her wet face.
