Chapter 400 - Right or wrong?

Silas' diamonds went over and over the charts of tributes that had been interviewed the previous day.

Not that he'd been completely oblivious to all of their situations, but admittedly, some had escaped his heed.

Still, confronted with the fact that a mere human with nothing but keen note of body language, speaking tone and a bunch of words strung up on a page was capable of such level of observation, left him with no other means but to accept that the fascination of older vampires by humans was more than justified. 

His eyes remained glued to Erik's chart when a raging pair of feet storming through the hallways towards his office, tapped the marble flooring on their path with resolve. 

Their pace was quick but not enough to qualify as running. Relying on the rhythm alone, Silas failed to identify the owner of such a furious walker.
