In response, and despite the fact that he had jostled her when grabbing her wrist, Arabella kept both her calm and the grin, "Nothing that can't be healed," she whispered.
The vampire shut his eyes, took a deep breath then finally released the tension in his jaws to speak, "Why?"
He did not yell and simply took out his own dagger to open a wound on his palm which he pushed towards her lips, "Drink," he muttered.
Arabella did not turn her beak away from it, but slowly pushed her injured hand closer to his mouth, "You first,"
