───「 GODZILLA POV 」───
In the distant past.
Before the descent of celestial bodies, before the dragons donned their armor, Godzilla already existed on this vast land.
It was once the oldest Titan on this planet. Afterward, a prosperous community of Titans gradually emerged from various tribes, transforming this world into a primitive sanctuary.
In the Late Jurassic Period, approximately 150 million years ago, during the reign of Giganotosaurus and Super Barosaurus, a type of predatory carnivorous dinosaur larger than the subsequent Tyrannosaurus rex and Spinosaurus emerged.
They preyed on hundred-ton supergiant sauropods, hunting in groups, and killed unimaginably colossal creatures, hastening the end of the Late Jurassic sauropod dynasty.
Unfortunately, all relics of these dinosaurs have disappeared over the long ages, and their skeletons have long been crushed by geological changes.
However, one thing is undeniable: among these creatures.
The first Titan appeared.
Among them, a life named Godzilla was born.
Although it was just an extremely rare coincidence, a tribe living near a uranium mine mutated under radiation, and after several generations survived with an exceptionally low probability, its body became extraordinarily huge.
Although this wasn't the intention of those colossal beasts, and this gigantism caused all other dragons except for one individual to starve to death.
But Godzilla was born nonetheless, as the only life form on this planet capable of continuing to evolve autonomously.
It emerged during the upheaval of the dragon dynasty, gradually evolving from ordinary chemical life through countless cycles of hibernation and subtle evolution into a Titan. It wasn't born inherently powerful.
This is also the origin of the Titans on this planet, a species that gradually evolved from some existence that underwent continuous self-evolution over tens of millions of years.
And its evolutionary process was recorded by nature itself and replicated in other organisms.
In a sense, Godzilla could be considered the original and father of all Titan communities, while the consciousness of nature was the mother of all Titan communities.
It was nature that placed Godzilla's structure onto other life forms, allowing them to evolve into Titans.
It is the father of all gods, the origin of Earth's Titans.
But at this moment, the truth known to all living beings for tens of millions of years has been broken.
The vertebrae are enormous— any one of them is larger than me.
The bones are scattered— They were shattered by a powerful impact, just like the rainbow snake, leaving only bone fragments.
Blasting open the final layer of rock, Godzilla's tail clears away the fireball, taking a deep breath to blow away the smoke.
Then it looks down at the layer of rocks beneath it, where the remains buried by ancient times are visible.
The pit cleared by Godzilla isn't very large, with a diameter of just over a thousand meters.
But within this thousand meters, Godzilla sees not just one skeleton, but clearly over a hundred!
The fragmented skeletons in the rock layer form the shape of bodies, overlapping and stacked like human corpses on ancient battlefields. But now, what's piled up here are the bodies of Titans.
The bone joints are enormous, with many bone joints as large as Godzilla's palm—this is only considering the size of the bone joints, without even counting the skin and flesh.
It's easy to imagine how massive their owners once were.
It's not an exaggeration to say that the owners of these bone joints were at least four to five times larger than Godzilla.
And the remains of such creatures, seen by Godzilla alone, number more than ten.
Within one square kilometer underground, there are more than ten creatures larger than Godzilla, plus ninety smaller creatures comparable in size to regular Titans.
And the entire Earth is— a full 500 million square kilometers.
Although only a portion of this 500 million square kilometers has rock layers with such remains, the number within this portion…
The entire Earth-Wide Radar began scanning, and Godzilla confirmed its perception once again.
It covers as much as one-fifth of the entire Earth.
So, does this mean that there were once a billion creatures larger than Godzilla and nearly ten billion creatures comparable to regular Titans on the entire Earth?
And the fact that these creatures were found in the same geological layer, with their remains overlapping, indicates that they all died at the same moment, at the same time.
At some moment 4.6 billion years ago, billions of Titans and billions more even larger beings were all killed by something, their bodies and bones blasted apart in an instant.
At that moment, the Earth was transformed into a sea of lava, with lava ten kilometers thick accumulating over the ancient remains, forming a new world.
This happened 4.6 billion years ago.
But this should have nothing to do with the current Godzilla.
Regardless of what happened on this planet 4.6 billion years ago, Godzilla's only task now is to drive away all humans and bring life back to this planet.
Everything else is irrelevant to it, so what it needs to do now is simply to take away the more intact remains, bring them up to the surface, and evolve its own ecosystem.
Its hands need to get busy now.
Picking out bodies is not something its breath can do.
Initially, Godzilla was prepared to crush the rock layers below with its hands and then pack up the slabs and layers containing various bone joints.
After all, it's been 4.6 billion years. The remains left behind should have long fused with the rock layers to become fossils.
But after actually seeing them, Godzilla discovered that these bone joints and skeletons were completely different from regular fossils.
Even after 4.6 billion years of fusion and infiltration, they hadn't been eroded in the slightest. They were still independent entities, just stuck in the rock layers.
Their composition is very unusual.
Picking up the remnants of several small, only regular Titan-sized skeletons that had fallen down, Godzilla took them to the land.
Then, one hand grabbed its "old friends," while the other hand grabbed the newly excavated skeleton, with the tail still carrying some, ready to go back.
With a low-power breath, it blasted the wall of the hole, causing a collapse inside. Godzilla walked back to its ecological circle. After this time, it should be time to confront those extraterrestrial beings flying in from the sky.
