I gasped aloud and quickly sat upright in alarm.
My eyes were wide and when I looked around I realized it was already morning and the sun was fully up.
I shivered slightly and quickly hugged myself but it wasn't enough so I pulled the blanket over my body and sat there thinking about my next move. I was scared and I couldn't do it alone. I have never left the city before and it was obvious the deserted forest I saw in my dream was located outside the city.
Joyce wasn't on the bed, so it gave me time to get myself together and come to a conclusion.
But with everything that has happened, I still couldn't go alone. In fact I couldn't go at all.
Something wasn't right about going.
But if I don't go he will come over and I didn't want that because I don't know what he's capable of.
"Oh God, give me the strength to make the right decision," I mumbled a little prayer to myself and got up.
