"Are you certain this is the right thing to do? Why don't you wait for him?" Pascal worriedly stopped me.
"I'm certain this is the right thing to do, Pascal." I confidently said.
"But Lord Lanzon won't like it," Joy said in concern.
"I know he won't but instead of waiting for him to come to me, I should go get him," I said and even smiled at the thought.
"But outside those gates, they are looking for you," Pascal reminded me.
"I know and I'll make sure to be discreet. Jamie is my map by the way," I said and glanced at him only for him to smile sheepishly.
"Please, Ingrid, just stay," Joy pleaded and I sighed.
"Why are you two making it seem like I will be gone for long and won't return?" I playfully asked and it made Pascal frown all the more.
"But wh-"
"Let her go," someone said and everyone turned to look at Caleb, the old man.
"She'll be exposed," Pascal worriedly said.
