Takahashi remembers the excitement he felt that day: the sea of blue shirts, the rhythmic clatter of vuvuzelas echoing through the stands and the way the air was charged with hope and nervousness. He could still feel the nervous excitement of the fans around him at the time, he was still too young to understand what was going on, but as he watched the Japanese players on the pitch, an unknown feeling came over him, it was as if he was transported into the atmosphere of the match, his whole body jerked, it was as if he was standing on the penalty spot himself, ready to shoot, he came to when his brother called out to him 'Hey the game is over we need to leave.' As he walked towards the stadium exit, he could see the sad and disappointed faces of the other fans present. Takahashi could already see himself playing for Japan, as he left the stadium, his father took a picture of him just outside the stadium, some time pass Takahashi was finally able to play football in junior.

One day, on his return from a competition, Takahashi went home with a medal and was excited to show it to his father. On the way home, he showed the medal to his father and said "Daddy, look our team finished second in the tournament". His father, without looking at him and with a disappointed expression, said "only second place, I'll let you play because I thought you were good but you're not even capable of getting first place or being captain of your team, concentrate on your studies instead is just an hobby, take exemple on your brother." Takahashi looked saddened and threw the medal in the bin. This kind of event became common with his father until college when he became the captain of Kagoshima and the club reached the quarter-finals of the regional but that day his father was present and when he saw his team being led he glanced towards the stands and saw his father's emotionless face, Takahashi was despondent at the end of the match and he turned back to the stands to see that his father had long since left the stadium.

The only thing left to him was his captaincy with the arrival of Gabriel, and at first he was happy to see someone wanting to get the club back on its feet, but when he saw that he had been promoted directly to vice-captain, Takahashi felt threatened and saw the only thing he thought would give him validation from his father slipping away.

Takahashi was in the front of his appartement with a ball in his hand and thought 'I can't stay home nor training what i should do.' Then he hear Gabriel call out his name, Takeshi look at him he was wearing a retro Brazilian kit with a black short he approached Takahashi, "we can't train so what do you think of a 1v1 for today?" Gabriel ask to Takahashi.

Takahashi shrugged his shoulder and respond, "why not i have nothing else to do for today." with that the both of them are walking across the street. "Why don't we make a bet?" Gabriel ask still walking, Takahashi just shrugged his shoulder as a why not, "we could supply the coach to take us back to training?" Gabriel suggest.

Takahashi look at him with a unserious face and say "that's lame, why don't we do whatever the other person ask." Gabriel nod as a response.

They both arrive at a city stade and put their boots on as the two of them are ready Gabriel advance and say "i'll explain the rules, since its a 1v1 we will only use the half of the pitch one will attack and the other defend, the first to five won." Takahashi nod, "So who will start to attack first?" he ask to Gabriel. "Honor to the elders" he said as he kick the ball in direction of Takahashi.

Both take their places. Takahashi runs forward with the ball, mimes another push, but changes position immediately Gabriel caught in the feint sees Takahashi pass him and score the first goal. Takahashi flashes a petty smile, "you know what I'm going to ask you to do?" Gabriel frowns and says, "i couldn't care less" Takahashi, still grinning, "Give up the vice-captaincy."

Gabriel does not answer and leaves directly to the attack he is in front of Takahashi he knows that he can hang it of speed but Takahashi has the physical advantage even if he passes in front of Takahashi has just to put his body in opposition and prevent him from passing in front, Gabriel thinks suddenly he positions his body to go to the left of Takahashi positions his body to cut off Gabriel's run, but Gabriel suddenly changes direction with his foot Takahashi is surprised an elástico.
