Chapter 206 - A Multiverse-Breaking Boost

— — — — — —

After saying goodbye to Gwen and leaving her world behind, Veyron didn't immediately head to the worlds of Selene or Shiroyasha like he'd originally planned.

...

The area around him was pure white—blank and infinite in every direction.

Instead of DC or Little Garden, he came here first, the Shared Space generated by the chat group itself.

Theoretically infinite in size, so it gave him all the room he needed to go wild without worrying about collateral damage. And since the chat group itself created the space, there were no external variables to interfere with what he was about to do.

And what exactly was he about to do?

Simple: absorb and refine the Crimson Cosmos' Origin Cyttorak had gifted him.

He took a deep breath in... and let it out slowly.

Then, without hesitation, he slammed the glowing mass of deep crimson energy straight into his chest.

[Divine Ki (Lv. 97) has gained 99,999,999,999 EXP.]

[Divine Ki (Lv. 97) has gained 99,999,999,999 EXP.]

[Divine Ki (Lv. 98) has gained ....]

[....]

[Divine Will (Lv. 82) has gained 99,999,999,999 EXP.]

[Divine Will (Lv. 83) has gained ....]

[....]

[Divine Body (Lv. 82) has gained 99,999,999,999 EXP.]

[Divine Body (Lv. 83) has gained ....]

[....]

Even when he was training, instead of just passively gaining power on AFK mode, he'd never earned experience at this rate.

On the Trait System panel, all three traits began skyrocketing.

Need 820 billion EXP to level Divine Will from 82 to 83? Easy.

830 billion to go from 83 to 84? Still easy.

9.7 trillion EXP to go from 97 to 98? Huh, are you seriously still asking, you idiot?

[...]

The climb didn't stop until all three traits hit Level 100… and then broke right through into EX.

Even then, the Crimson Cosmos had only been half consumed.

The rest didn't go to waste either.

Reaching EX didn't mean those traits had capped out. Not at all. The label just changed—from "Lv." for levels to "EX" for Extra. There were no longer traditional level markers, no tier milestones every ten levels… but that didn't mean the growth stopped.

The EXP still poured in, and it still had real effects. Real power.

For example, EXP poured into Divine Ki boosted his Ki quality.

EXP into Divine Will fueled his "Soul Light."

EXP into Divine Body further refined his physical vessel.

He exhaled deeply, this time with a grin.

"Damn, that felt good."

When the last sliver of the Crimson Cosmos finally fused with him, Veyron let out a satisfied sigh, basking in the transformation taking place in his body.

His three EX-tier traits had all gained massive boosts:

[Divine Ki (EX): All ten bonus traits from Lv.10 to Lv.100 added up to +275, which translated to a 2²⁷⁵.]

[Divine Will (EX): +55 total bonus, or 2⁵⁵ times power.]

[Divine Body (EX): +165 total bonus, or 2¹⁶⁵ times power.]

Even if you ignored those absurd multiplicative boosts, just the raw synergy between these three EX traits—Ki, Will (Mind or Soul), and Body—was enough to push him into a league where he could literally obliterate an entire universe.

Why? Because the logic was simple:

Even without his own previous accumulation, just that one gift from Cyttorak —the Crimson Cosmos—was equivalent to the energy capacity of a full-blown universe.

And at this scale? Stuff like energy properties, battle techniques, and clever tricks didn't matter anymore. It was all about raw quantity.

Oh—and that's not even counting his [Gene Lock (Gold)].

Before all this, back when his power was nowhere near this level, Veyron had already thought the Fourth Stage Gene Lock's multiplier—stacking directly onto final output regardless of conditions—was ridiculously overpowered.

But now?

Now that he had true cosmic-level stats, he realized just how broken that thing really was.

When he could blow up a planet with a single punch? Gene Lock still gave him at least a 100x multiplier.

When he could snuff out a star with one move? Still 100x.

Even if he had the power to wipe out an entire galaxy with a flick of his wrist? Still a 100x multiplier.

It wasn't just powerful—it was absurd. A cheat code pretending to be a feature.

But enough about that—back to the main topic.

Having fully absorbed Cyttorak's Crimson Cosmos with zero waste, and reaching a base level of power strong enough to annihilate a universe with raw force alone...

Now the real question was: what happens when he goes all out?

Full power meant stacking all the multipliers: 2²⁷⁵ (Divine Ki)× 2⁵⁵ (Divine Will)× 2¹⁶⁵ (Divine Body)× Gene Lock's final multiplier

And keep in mind, this didn't even factor in the metaphysical effects of "Willpower Reshaping Reality" that came from the Soul Light (Light of the Mind).

So, without a test subject or a good target... even Veyron didn't know what the actual end result would be.

All he did know was this:

Just from those three trait bonuses alone— 2²⁷⁵⁺⁵⁵⁺¹⁶⁵ = 2⁴⁹⁵ ≈ 4.26 × 10¹⁴⁹.

Yeah, he was now sitting on a number with 149 digits. And that's without Gene Lock's final multiplier.

(Not 149 times the power. A number with 149 digits.)

So that wasn't even his limit. If he wanted, he could keep stacking more.

『(Admin) Veyron』: @Catwoman, I'm heading to your world next.

『Catwoman』: No problem! Everything's ready on my end… though I doubt you need anything from me anyway. (Cat_Face.jpg)

『(Admin) Veyron』: [Artoria_Rubbing_Hands.gif]

『Lady Avalon』: …Wait, when did I ever send a Lily version of that emoji?

『(Admin) Veyron』: You didn't. I made it myself.

『Lady Avalon』: …

『Earth's Cancer』: Mr. Veyron, judging by how hyped you are… did you get something big from Gwen's world?

『(Admin) Veyron』: Yeah. I already had a general idea of how much I'd gain, but actually going through it... the boost was way beyond what I expected.

『(Admin) Veyron』: Oh right—everyone can come back to the shared space now.

Before using the Crimson Cosmos, Veyron had completely cleared the shared space—just in case something went horribly wrong during the process. After all, if something went out of control and caused a universal-level explosion, even a minor shockwave could get chat members killed.

He'd even put away the personalized space islands everyone had decorated earlier.

『Earth's Cancer』: Huh? Mr. Veyron, you're not here?

Chika Fujiwara, first to return, activated her Tenseigan and looked around the main island. Not seeing him anywhere, she popped back into the group chat.

『(Admin) Veyron』: I'm here.

『Earth's Cancer』: Then why can't I see you?

『Earth's Cancer』: Also... why does it look like there are way more stars in the sky than before? Did you update the background again?

『(Admin) Veyron』: Something like that.

『(Admin) Veyron』: I kept the central star system layout the same, but for the rest… I kinda just created reality from scratch.

『Ghost Spider』: Wait wait wait. 'Created reality', you say?… you don't mean it, do you?

『Earth's Cancer』: Please say no...

『Hellish Blizzard』: ????

『Lady Avalon』: Be confident, Gweny. He does mean it.

『Lady Avalon』: (shared_Space_Universe_View.jpg)

『Snake Empress』: Fuck…!

『Catwoman』: (A_Cat_Shocked.jpg)

『Shiroyasha』: Well, damn.

『Earth's Cancer』: Yo, what the hell is wrong with you?

『Earth's Cancer』: Seriously—where are you right now, Mr. Veyron??

『(Admin) Veyron』: Hmm… why don't you take a guess?

As the messages kept rolling in, Veyron quietly stood alone, a smirk on his lips.

Cradled in the palm of his hand was a universe— over 9 billion light-years across, still expanding faster than the speed of light.

And that was just his playground.
