Traveling is hard. but knowing what you left behind is harder. As for me, it's a different case. Hi, my name is Jenni and I am going to the South Korea Official International Scholar Academic Collage (SKOISAC).
I have always wanted to go there for a long time, even before I found out that my mom met my father there. You know what's greater; I heard that many K-pop idols go there. It will be so amazing.
"Jenni, come eat; dinner's ready." -mom
"Okay, mom, I'm coming."- Jenni
"So Jenni, how is it going with the packing?" - mom
"I'm almost done; I just have to put all the dorm decorations in the suicase." - Jenni
"So did you tell your friends that you are leaving on a scholarship to South Korea?" - mom
"Oh, yes... I did." Jennifer said awkwardly.
"I'm sure they will miss you a lot, honey. Now let's dig in before the food gets cold."- mom
You see, my mom doesn't know that I don't have any friends at school. I am the weird Asian American at school, and I get made fun of because I am smart and Korean. I just tell my mom that I have friends so she doesn't have to worry about me being left behind. Hence the reason I don't mind leaving to go to South Korea. Now I only know a few words in Korean, but I've been learning and I am basically a pro at it now.
