Chapter 1 - Prologue

Lexi is an orchid-skinned, slightly lizard-like humanoid young girl, though a bit tomboyish with pastel pink eyes. She has an unnoticeable tail, commonly exploited to call her mysteriously a lizard. She tends to wear a simple blank dress, which is fairly loose for movement with a sword in a combat fight.

Lexi is very haughty and generally solitary. She never rejects just about anyone trying to become her friend and treats her fellow demon army in a very care way. She is overall pretty smart, although hardly a genius. She also has a quick temper. Her arrogance is beyond the level of thought beforehand, and she is sometimes quite mistaken.

She is a great demon princess who is unlike any other demon in Demonia land. While her peers revelled in chaos and destruction, Lexi longed for peace and harmony. She often found herself wandering through the biggest colourfully tree forest ofheart'snia land, admiring the beauty of nature and yearning for a life free from violence.

Despite her desires, Lexi was bound by her royal duties to uphold the dark demons of Demonia. Her mother, the powerful 28th era demon queen, expected her to embrace her demonic nature and wreak havoc upon the mortal realm. However, Lexi refused to succumb to her mother's wishes. She believed that demons and humans could coexist in harmony, and she dreamed of forming relationships with the mortal beings she had been taught to despise.

One fateful night, as Lexi wandered the outskirts of Demonia land, she stumbled upon a group of human travellers lost in the forest. Despite her initial hesitation, Lexi felt drawn to the humans and decided to help them find their way back to their village. As they journeyed together, Lexi learned about the human way of life and was amazed by their kindness and compassion.

Upon reaching the village, the humans welcomed Lexi with open arms, grateful for her assistance. They offered her food and shelter, treating her as one of their own. Lexi was touched by their generosity and felt a sense of belonging she had never experienced before.

As days turned into weeks, Lexi's bond with the humans grew stronger. She learned their customs and traditions, participating in their daily activities with enthusiasm. The humans, in turn, were fascinated by Lexi's otherworldly beauty and powers. They marvelled at her ability to control light and shadows, viewing her as a mysterious and enigmatic figure.

Despite their differences, Lexi and the humans formed a connection based on mutual respect and understanding. They shared stories by the fire of the spirit, played music together, and danced under the moonlight. Lexi's heart swelled with joy as she experienced the warmth and love of human relationships.

However, not everyone was pleased with Lexi's newfound friendship with the humans. The demon queen grew suspicious of her prolonged absence from Demonia and sent his minions to bring her back to the realm. When they arrived at the village, chaos ensued as the demons clashed with the humans in a fierce battle.

Fearing for the safety of her newfound friends, Lexi unleashed her powers in a display of strength and courage. She fought alongside the humans, determined to protect them from harm. As the dust settled and the demons retreated, the villagers gathered for her bravery and loyalty.

In the aftermath of the battle, Lexi made a decision that would change the course of her life forever. She chose to leave Demonia land behind and live among the humans, embracing a peaceful existence filled with love and compassion. The villagers welcomed her as their protector and friend, grateful for her presence in their midst.

And so, Lexi the demon princess found her place in the mortal realm, forging bonds of grip and love that transcended the boundaries of race and species. She had finally achieved her heart's's desire-to live peacefully with human relationships, proving that even a demon princess could choose the path of light and love.

However, not everyone in the demon land was pleased with Lexi's reign as princess. Her uncle Bolmon is one of the strongest 28 era loyal demon families in the service of the 28 era demon Queen. He is the minister of sword fight range for the demon forest area, acting as the commander-in-chief for its demon army during wartime or celebration. He holds a place in one of the royal families, as well as the big five, being its leader and being counted as one of the 28 era demon queen's top five strongest family members.

As a demon, he had a tall, burly build. He had black flame-like, lightly black coloured skin from which two large, brown, deadly wings sprang. He has a pair of iconic white hairs on his head with white markings that flow down from the bottom of his mouth over his chest, which persists throughout all his growth. His eyes are incredibly sharp and fierce-looking, and he has a muscular body, which reveals not wear upper clothes, as he refers to himself as a topless guy who wears simple black lower clothes.

He envied her power and popularity among the human villagers. He had always harboured a deep resentment towards her, believing that he should have been the rightful heir to the throne.

Another fateful night, Bolmon hatched a sinister plan to rid himself of Lexi once and for all. He sought out a powerful dark sorcerer who specialised they conspired to kill the demon princess Lexi and frame it as an accident.

The high-ranking level dark spiritual sorcerer created a most powerful potion that would weaken Lexi's powers and make her vulnerable to attacks. Bolmon then invited Lexi to a grand feast in her honour, pretending to celebrate her achievements as princess.

Unbeknownst to Lexi, the food and drink served at the feast were laced with the dark potion. As she indulged in the delectable dishes, she began to feel a strange sensation creeping over her. Her powers waned, and she knew she was in grave danger.

Suddenly, Bolmon made his move. With a malevolent grin on his face, he lunged towards Lexi with a wickedly sharp dagger in hand. The demon princess Lexi tried to defend herself, but the dark potion had sapped too much of her strength.

Bolmon's blade pierced Lexi's heart, and a chilling scream echoed through the grand hall. The guests gasped in horror as they witnessed the treacherous act. The demon princess Lexi fell to the ground, her blood staining the marble floor.

Bolmon smirked triumphantly, believing he had finally achieved his goal of eliminating his niece and seizing the throne for himself. However, his victory was short-lived.

From the shadows emerged a mysterious figure clad in black robes. It was a legendary high-ranking levelling knight known as Helos, who was a very small, lean and muscular man in his late look like a teenager who is considered relatively unattractive, mainly due to his facial features. He has golden, shiny hair and covers both eyes with a blue blindfold, which props up his hair and gives it a spikier appearance.

Helos wear white heavy armour, but he can move his body very flexibly if armour is nothing for him. He is unable not feel comfortable wearing a helmet, and he does not think important to safely protect his head during a fight.

Now Helos has been tracking Bolmon's movements for months. With unparalleled speed and agility, Helos launched himself at the traitorous uncle, his sword gleaming in the dim light.

Bolmon tried to fight back, but he was no match for the skilled high-ranking levelling. Helos's sword sliced through the air, striking true and fast. In a matter of moments, Bolmon lay defeated at his feet, his schemes unravelling before his eyes.

With the threat eliminated, Helos turned his attention to the fallen demon princess Lexi. He knelt by her side, his heart heavy with sorrow for the loss of such a noble and kind spirit. Gently, he cradled Lexi's lifeless form in his arms, vowing to give her a proper burial and honor her memory.

And so, the demon princess Lexi mourned by all who knew her, her legacy living on in the hearts of those who had been touched by her grace and compassion. As for Helos, he continued his quest to protect the realm from dark forces, knowing that the battle between good and evil would always rage on.
