Chapter 23 - Chapter 23: Meeting The Star King Dragon Veldanava

In the farthest reaches of all realities, where time bends and creation breathes, a phenomenon occurred that defied natural law.

Origin, a powerful being from the Marvel Cosmology, had shattered the Cosmic Barrier of another multiverse—the world of Tensura. The act was not subtle. It tore through layers of space-time with such unnatural force that its shockwaves resonated across the Cardinal World, shaking the foundations of the very order this reality was built upon.

Such an act did not go unnoticed.

In the Heavenly Star Palace, seated in serene solitude, Star King Dragon Veldanava opened his eyes.

This place, a secluded divine realm less than eleven kilometers in diameter, floated in complete separation from all universes. The upper dome radiated endless skies, while the earth below was painted with blooming fields and crystal streams untouched by entropy. At the center stood a luminous white castle—his home. A world of purity, beauty, and peace.

But now, something stirred.

Veldanava had long since given up his omnipotence and omniscience. He preferred to experience surprise, uncertainty, and even mistakes. To him, there was no joy in knowing everything. True beauty lay in the unknown.

So when he felt the cosmic membrane tear—a forceful entry into the very structure of his cosmology—he felt something rare.

Excitement.

It was new. Unfamiliar. Unforeseen.

And thus, precious.

At the time, Veldanava had just finished forming the Cardinal World, the central plane anchoring the vast Tensura Cosmology. His command had been simple: bring forth life. For this, he had created Twilight Valentine, a divine being assigned the role of the Progenitor of Races. Twilight was the ancestor of Humans, Vampires, Giants, and countless other species.

Originally designed to create immortals, Twilight lacked reproductive capability. Undeterred, they began experimenting on their own essence, and from those efforts arose the first High Humans and Pure Vampires. Powerful, but flawed.

More diversity came from further experimentation. Twilight's creations evolved—Demi-humans, Lycanthropes, Giants, and more—until the land was populated with intelligent life.

With Twilight managing the evolution of races and Feldway, Veldanava's most trusted servant, handling administrative duties of divine governance, the Creator found himself free. So, he rested.

He floated in the gardens of the Heavenly Star Palace, his form bathed in starlight, his long black hair trailing with constellations.

And then the breach happened.

He rose, eyes glowing with infinite layers of cosmic truth. Someone had broken in—not through summoning or divine permission—but through force that was only felt by him not by any other being.

A rare thing indeed.

Veldanava turned toward the edge of reality and smiled. "Something interesting at last."

He raised his hand, calling forth a ripple across the palace. A golden sigil burned in the air—his signal.

Far below, in a realm suspended beneath the palace's field of stars, Feldway appeared instantly, kneeling in reverence.

"You summoned me, Lord Veldanava," he said, voice firm but humble. "Your servant stands ready to obey."

Veldanava gave a soft sigh. He appreciated Feldway's loyalty, but sometimes he wished the man could loosen up.

"Feldway," Veldanava said gently, "I'm stepping out."

Feldway's eyes widened slightly. "What happened Lord did something happen?"

"Yes. Something... unusual happened. I'd like to see it for myself."

"I shall accompany you."

"No need," Veldanava replied. "I want to go alone. Handle things here while I'm gone."

"As you command."

With a chuckle, Veldanava turned into a wave of celestial particles. Golden, white, and starry black light gathered like galaxies in motion, forming a comet-like trail that tore through space toward the intruder.

Meanwhile, Origin stood amid the primordial skies of the newly entered cosmology.

He was weakened. Breaking through the Cosmic Barrier had consumed nearly 95% of his energy reserves. He estimated that, by Marvel cosmology standards, he had only Single Universe-Level power at the moment—still formidable by this world's standards at least the rank of a True Demon Lord level, but a far cry from his peak. Recovery was slow. The laws of this universe resisted his energy. Everything here felt... different.

As he focused on recovering, he suddenly felt something terrifying.

A divine pressure descended on him—unimaginably vast, yet utterly calm. It was like facing the presence of the One Above All… no, not quite. This was something just as powerful, but… different.

More vibrant.

More curious.

More human.

As Origin's instincts screamed, a storm of stars gathered before him. Lights painted the sky, and out of the starfield, a humanoid form began to emerge—elegant, tall, and radiant.

When the light faded, Veldanava stood before him.

His appearance stunned Origin. He looked like a man of modest stature, with flowing black hair sparkling with stardust, and piercing blue eyes that seemed to hold all the beauty and sorrow of the cosmos.

For a moment, Origin just stared.

"…Holy hell what a cool way to appear," he muttered. "You're… absurdly handsome."

Veldanava chuckled. "Thanks. You're not too bad yourself, stranger."

Realizing the gravity of the being in front of him, Origin dropped to one knee and bowed respectfully.

"My name is Origin," he said. "But you can call me Alex. I'm from the Marvel Cosmology."

Veldanava raised an eyebrow. "Marvel, huh? So, you're from that lazy old man's house."

Origin blinked. "Old man?"

"The One Above All," Veldanava said with a grin. "That guy loves to play the wise elder routine. Compared to me, he looks ancient."

Origin couldn't help but smirk. "Honestly… that fits."

The two stood silently for a moment, the tension broken by that odd but honest exchange. Origin felt a strange comfort in Veldanava's presence—divine, yes, but not oppressive.

"So, tell me, Alex," Veldanava asked, "what brings you all the way here?"

Origin stood and took a breath. "In my cosmology, the One Above All has sealed his dark counterpart—the One Below All. If that seal ever breaks, OBA could devour everything. I'm strong… but not strong enough to fight him alone. And I've realized that nothing I learn within the Marvel structure can help me anymore."

"I see…" Veldanava nodded thoughtfully.

"That's why I came here. To train. To discover new paths. To grow beyond what Marvel's power system allows. I need to learn concepts that exist outside of my home cosmology. I need evolution."

A moment of silence passed between them. Then Veldanava gave him a genuine smile.

"Interesting. I like that answer. You came here to grow stronger… not just to gain power, but to surpass the limits of your reality. Very few even understand such a goal."

Origin looked at him earnestly. "I know I'm asking a lot, Lord Veldanava. But—"

"Don't call me 'Lord' Veldanava," he said, waving a hand dismissively. "Just 'Veldanava' is fine."

"…With respect, I can't do that. Not with who you are."

"You Marvel guys and your formality," Veldanava chuckled. "Fine, fine. But if I help you, you'll need to help me too."

"Help you… manage this place?"

Veldanava laughed heartily. "Exactly! You think ruling a multiverse is easy? Everyone wants something. I swear, Twilight alone files seventy-three creation requests per day."

Origin smirked. "So that's my fate, huh? Working for a Creator God again."

"You're not the first," Veldanava said. "Presence does the same thing to newcomers from the DC side. And OAA? That old man made Franklin Richards his intern once in the far future."

"…Poor kid."

Both laughed.

Veldanava then extended a hand. "Welcome to the Tensura Cosmology, Alex. I'll help you find your path."

Origin looked at the offered hand, then took it.

"Thank you, Sir Veldanava. I will be grateful for this forever towards you"
