Years Passed While Guy continued his relentless duty as the Mediator of the World—embracing his role as the Ultimate Evil to force a cohesive unity upon the disparate human race—far up in the sky, within the surreal beauty of the Heavenly Palace, Origin was engaged in conversation.
He sat with Dino, the Primordial Angel, and his subordinates, Gracia and Pico. Dino, ever languid, sensed the turbulent dimensional aftermath of Origin's recent activities.
"Hey, Origin, I sensed your fight," Dino inquired, his voice laced with his characteristic boredom and laziness. "Who did you fight against?"
Origin replied with unhurried composure. "Well, you should have know him. He is the Primordial Demon Red, now named and known as Guy."
Dino instantly understood the cosmic significance: Origin had fought a Primordial Demon, the natural counter to the Primordial Angels. Yet, the shock was profound. Dino knew Origin was a monster among monsters—a being so powerful that even Feldway, even utilizing his True Body, would be uncertain of victory. All other Primordial Angels would be effortlessly defeated if Origin fought seriously. The fact that a Primordial Demon like Guy was able to fight Origin to this extent—even knowing Origin had been holding back—was a staggering revelation.
Dino was even more shocked when he considered his Lord, Veldanava, had given that Demon Guy such an important position as Mediator. He had fully expected someone like Velzard to be granted that role. This must mean that Lord Veldanava felt that Guy was uniquely suitable for this monumental position, Dino thought, a rare wave of complexity crossing his mind then felt Lord Veldanava must have seen that Guy would be more suitable for the Mediator position.
Origin then spoke of the experience. "Well, my fight with Guy was very amazing. It's the first time I felt so excited for a battle, even if we both were not fighting using everything we had."
Dino simply nodded, accepting the sheer scale of the power exchange between these two monsters. Origin then excused himself to meet Sir Veldanava.
Origin entered one of the main observation rooms to find Sir Veldanava.
"What is it, Origin?" Veldanava called out.
Origin saw Veldanava seated comfortably in his crystalline chair, drinking the Coke that Origin had provided, while also feasting on a surprising array of human snacks: Pizza, a Burger, and a magnificent dessert of Frosted Chocolate Cake.
Seeing this bizarre scene—the Creator of the World indulging in mundane mondern human junk food—Origin felt his right eye twitching uncontrollably. He looked at the vast array of food laid out before the primordial being.
"Sir Veldanava," Origin said, his voice flat with forced seriousness, "I wanted to speak to you about something important."
Veldanava, who was halfway through a slice of pizza, looked up at Origin and gestured. "Origin, come on, sit, and tell me what happened. Humans are indeed fascinating creatures. They have a knack for the ability to create things to enjoy their lives, like this truly tasty food," he explained. "I also wanted to speak with you regarding an important thing."
Veldanava's tone shifted, becoming intensely serious. "A few weeks ago, I sensed a great disturbance. Several universes were randomly getting destroyed. But when I tried to sense the source, I was not able to locate it. So, I sent Feldway to investigate its source."
Origin's casual demeanor evaporated. Something that had the power to destroy multiple universes and was also able to completely hide its presence from Sir Veldanava's transcendent gaze was, without question, an apocalyptic threat.
You get a feeling that this might be Ivarage, the World Destroying Dragon. Origin voiced his terrible conclusion. "Sir Veldanava, this might be Ivarage, the World Destroying Dragon. And how was it able to block your gaze? It might be due to both of you coming from the same source."
Veldanava's expression grew grim. He confirmed that Ivarage and he did indeed come from the same origin, and he sensed the raw, destructive instincts emanating from the phenomenon. "It showed those destructive instincts. I feel she may not possess an Ego and is currently mindless."
"Sir Veldanava," Origin urged, "since it might be Ivarage, shouldn't we be increasing our number of powerhouses for the fight? I might have an idea."
"Tell me the idea," Veldanava said.
Origin presented his calculated strategy. "Sir Veldanava, you were already planning to give the Genesis Grade Sword: World to Guy. Why don't we give it to him now? This will help us greatly in the fight against Ivarage. Even if I or you can easily beat her in her mindless, Egoless state—even Guy can fight her for a stand still —we must inflict heavy damage to her conceptual core so that when it is over, she cannot recover that easily."
Veldanava nodded, a rare smile of approval on his face. He was highly intelligent, but preferred to enjoy life and often delegated his most challenging works to his subordinates like Feldway, Dino, and Guy. Origin, however, was proving to be an exceptionally proactive advisor, always providing elegant solutions to his problems.
Veldanava opened a portal and brought out a sword—a weapon of sublime, intimidating beauty, radiating every color of the spectrum. The presence it gave off was incredible, a unified concept of power. Origin sighed, knowing that the sword's raw Existence Points (E.P.) was 40 million.
Veldanava gave it to Origin. "Go and give it to Guy, and ask him to properly master this sword, World."
After holding it, Origin left the Heavenly Palace. He used the Original Move he created, the technique of Black Particles—a spatial-temporal manipulation he openly admitted was conceptually copied from Gilgamesh of the Fate universe—to arrive near the Northern Continent, landing near Guy's towering castle.
Origin made his presence known instantly. Guy, who was inside his castle, immediately reacted.
"Rain! Mizeri!" Guy commanded.
Hearing their Master's voice, they rushed to him. "What happened, Lord Guy?" they asked.
Guy's crimson eyes gleamed. "Origin is here. Go and invite him in properly."
They both nodded and departed. Origin landed and walked towards the castle. He noted the sheer power density: he sighed, thinking that a single Arch-Demon could destroy a nation, but in Guy's castle, the number of Arch-Demons numbered in the hundreds.
Rain and Mizeri, the Primordial Demons and Guy's maids, were waiting. "Lord Origin," they said as they bowed. "Lord Guy is waiting for you." They ushered Origin inside the castle.
As Origin entered the throne room, he saw Guy sitting on his throne. Guy stood upon seeing the Mediator enter. "It's been a long time, my friend, Origin," he said, walking forward.
Seeing Guy approach, Origin felt a sudden burst of goosebumps, an impossible biological reaction that he couldn't explain. As Guy came close, he reached out and touched Origin's chin, leaning closer to his face.
Origin reacted immediately. He planted his hands firmly on Guy's face, pushing him back and jumping away, looking at the Demon Lord with truly horrified eyes, not believing Guy would try this shit with him.
"I tell you, Guy, keep this Gay shit away from me!" Origin exclaimed.
Guy laughed heartily at Origin's extreme reaction, then asked, sounding genuinely curious, "Hey Origin, what did Gay mean when you called me that?"
Origin wanted nothing more than to launch his Enuma Elish technique at the shameless bastard's face but controlled himself. "Well, 'Gay' means a man who is very deeply interested in another man."
Guy laughed again, his voice filled with predatory amusement. "Does that mean I am Gay, since I am very interested in you?"
Hearing Guy's shameless words, Origin almost wanted to pull out his Oblivion and cut him. "I am not into Men," Origin stated coldly.
Guy shrugged, a devilish grin on his face. "Well, if you want, I can turn into a woman if you prefer that, because I am very interested in you, despite being a human who is very powerful and amazing while he said this he licked his lips slightly."
Origin finally calmed down. "Well, we can talk about it later. I came to talk about something very serious."
Looking at Origin's determinedly serious expression, Guy also turned serious and led Origin to a private room, telling Rain and Mizeri to bring some delicious food with them.
After arriving at the private area, Guy asked while sitting, "So what happened that you had to come to meet me?" Rain and Mizeri were serving some fresh juices and food to eat.
Origin addressed the crisis immediately. "Before we begin, here. Take this." He pulled out the Genesis Grade Sword: World and gave it to Guy.
As Guy held it, he felt the overwhelming, powerful presence of the sword. "What type of weapon is this?" Guy asked, curiously.
"This is a Genesis Grade Sword," Origin replied. "It is one of the strongest weapons to be ever created by Sir Veldanava. Currently, only eight exist, and the one in your hand is one of them. Its name is World."
Guy nodded, instantly understanding the sheer weight and power of a Genesis Grade Weapon. "But why are you giving this to me?" he asked.
"Sir Veldanava said you are capable and worthy of wielding one, so he gave one to you," Origin explained. "Originally, they were made for the Primordial Angels, but except for Feldway, none of the others can control the weapon, so Sir Veldanava decided to find worthy people who can wield the weapon."
Guy smiled triumphantly. "So does that mean this sword is mine from now?"
"Yes," Origin confirmed. "But don't grin like that. I also have my own Genesis Grade Sword, and Feldway also has his own."
"What is the name of your sword and Feldway's sword?" Guy pressed.
Origin revealed the names. "Well, mine is named Oblivion, and Feldway's is Ark. Now, can we get back to the serious topic?"
Guy nodded, and Origin continued. "A few weeks ago, Sir Veldanava sensed many multiple Universes getting destroyed."
Both Rain and Mizeri, serving them, widened their eyes in horror at the cosmic catastrophe.
"But the problem is," Origin continued, "when Sir Veldanava tried to find its source, the thing was able to hide itself away from Veldanava's gaze."
Guy became completely serious, hearing the news that something could escape the Creator's notice. "So are you planning to say that that thing, whatever destroyed those universes, may be coming to attack the Cardinal World?"
Origin nodded, agreeing to the assessment. "Feldway was sent to find the source of the destruction. The reason why I came to you is that only the three of us can fight whatever that thing might be. So, be ready and try to master World completely. It may be a great help to you."
Guy nodded, instantly deciding to completely master the Genesis Grade Sword: World. He was also getting excited to get an opportunity to fight such a world-ending threat.
Origin waited for Guy's response. Guy, holding the sword, spoke with absolute confidence. "Well then, Origin, give me some time. I will completely master this sword, World."
Origin nodded, and as the things settled down, both Origin and Guy began to eat and drink. Origin was originally expecting something good to eat, but when he looked at the food Rain and Mizeri served, he thought that proper, delicious foods were produced only in the current era. He silently used his power to erase the taste of the food he consumed and gulped it down.
"Hey, Guy, are you eating this type of dishes?" Origin asked, knowing that food and drinks were mere refreshments and entertainment to them, as immortal Spiritual-Life Forms could survive without food or nutrients.
Guy nodded, wondering what was wrong with the current food.
"If you are eating this kind of food, then you are missing some good dishes to enjoy upon," Origin stated.
Guy became instantly interested. Origin snapped his fingers, opening a portal above the table they were eating at. Many exquisite dishes—gourmet Pizza, Burger, Spicy Noodles—and for dessert, a lavish Black Forest Chocolate Cake—flew down and were properly arranged on the table. Seeing the exquisite color and smelling the powerful aroma of the dishes, Guy understood this was truly superior food.
Guy and Origin began to enjoy the food with relish. After they finally finished eating, Guy, who was savoring his dessert, spoke while enjoying the sweetness of the cake. "Hey Origin, why don't you give me these recipes of these foods, especially this cake, so that these two can learn them?" He pointed at Rain and Mizeri.
Origin nodded, stretching out his hand. A leather-bound book containing all the recipes instantly manifested. He made it into a book and gave it to Guy.
"Hey Guy, you owe me a favor since I gave you such a precious recipe book of mine," Origin said, a smirk playing on his face.
Guy looked at Origin's smirking face. "Well, yes, I owe you a favor," he conceded.
Origin also finished his third Black Forest Cake in front of Guy. "Hey bastard, if you have more of those cake, give some of them to me to taste them," Guy demanded.
Origin handed Guy a second Black Forest Cake. "Enjoy it."
They finished their desserts, and then finally began a silly quarrel over whether the cream of the chocolate tasted better than the soft cake—a quarrel that almost led to a minor, dimension-shaking fight.
As Origin prepared to leave, he issued one final warning. "Hey Guy, I think you better be prepared. You may be challenged sooner or later by a strong opponent."
Guy smiled, asking, "Who will be my opponent?"
"Well, she is Velzard, a True Dragon," Origin replied.
Guy became instantly interested. "Is she related to Veldanava?"
"Well, she is the younger sister of Sir Veldanava," Origin confirmed.
Guy nodded, his smile widening. "Then I hope not to be disappointed after fighting her."
Origin left the Northern Continent and Guy's Castle, returning to the Heavenly Palace. He went to meet Sir Veldanava. "I gave him World, and he will master it quickly," Origin reported.
Veldanava nodded. "Then let's be prepared to fight Ivarage if it appears."
Origin nodded and left toward his own room in the Heavenly Palace to meditate his mind, preparing for the inevitable war.
