Chapter 191 - Chapter 191 : Jack The Drought, Are You Here To Die

Luffy was thoroughly fed up with the old man.

Even though the old man was wailing pitifully, the guy clearly wanted to kill him for revenge!

It was completely illogical to come after him now just because he held a grudge against Grandpa!

The onlookers exchanged bewildered glances. Seeing a notorious pirate with a 500 million Berry bounty crying like that left them momentarily speechless. But no matter, it didn't stop them from enjoying the spectacle.

Chinjao abruptly stopped his sobbing, his face contorted with fury, and lunged at Luffy.

"I'll get rid of you now! Garp's grandson!"

Seeing this, Luffy didn't bother arguing. He strode forward and slammed his fists onto the ground. His calves began to bulge as he engaged Gear Second, and intense steam billowed from his body.

"Whoosh!"

Luffy shot forward, his fists coated in both Armament Haki and Conqueror's Haki, and struck Chinjao.

Chinjao didn't back down; his massive fist, also imbued with Haki, met Luffy's.

Boom! Crack!

A thunderous sound erupted, and the very air seemed to tear apart.

The shockwave of Conqueror's Haki spread instantly, and the spectators, who were so engrossed in the excitement, rolled their eyes and collapsed to the ground. Even those who had already fled were affected, with a large number falling unconscious.

Those who remained standing looked utterly confused, unsure of what had just happened.

Crack! Zzzt! Crack! Zzzt!

Purple-black lightning crackled around the fists of Luffy and Chinjao, and the shockwaves radiated outwards, forcing Jango, little 3, Ashura Doji, and Abu, who were also fighting, to halt their clash.

"It's a clash of Conqueror's Haki! I didn't expect Chinjao to possess Conqueror's!" Jango exclaimed in surprise.

"However, he's no match for Luffy!" Little 3 said confidently.

Sure enough, in the next instant, Chinjao's expression drastically changed. He felt an immense force of Armament Haki surging from Luffy's fist, actually penetrating his body.

And that Conqueror's Haki slammed into him as if it had a will of its own, delivering a devastating impact to both his body and consciousness.

"How... how is this possible?! At such a young age, you've already mastered the Armament Haki Emission and Conqueror's Haki Entanglement! This is absolutely impossible!"

Chinjao roared in disbelief, but it couldn't alter the fact that he was weaker than Luffy.

With another powerful thrust, Luffy forcefully knocked Chinjao's fist aside and landed a solid punch on Chinjao's face, sending him flying.

"Master!!"

Both Ah Cai and Ah Bu's expressions twisted in alarm.

Everything had happened so fast. They had just faced off against Jango and Little 3, only to be interrupted by the clash of Conqueror's Haki before their fight even truly began. Then, their old leader was struck down by Luffy.

Seeing the way the old man's eyes rolled back in mid-air, they knew he had definitely lost!

So, the two immediately abandoned their opponents, rushed over, caught Chinjao, and then fled into the distance without looking back.

Ah Cai still managed to shout, "Straw Hat brat! Our old man isn't feeling well today, but we'll be back to settle this with you another day! You better watch your neck!"

Then, the three of them disappeared.

Luffy picked his nose. "What's with these guys?"

Little 3 and Jango exchanged a smile. "Just a few flies challenging the authority of the Five Emperors. Captain Luffy, let's find another street to eat. Don't let annoying flies bother you."

"That's right, I happen to be starving."

Luffy said, and left with Jango, Little 3, and Liji.

As soon as they were gone, someone cautiously peeked out, then quickly retreated, pulled out a Den Den Mushi, and reported the situation. These scouts were everywhere, and even Luffy couldn't completely guard against them.

Meanwhile, Carl, who was perched on his sword above the sea, glanced at the City of Seven Waters and then looked back with a smile.

The battle ended so quickly; that Chinjao's strength was far inferior to Luffy's!

But it worked out perfectly, solving a minor issue.

Carl looked towards the distant sea again. A large, luxurious ship was approaching, its sail and pirate flag bearing the image of mammoth skeletons. Yes, heading this way was "the Drought" Jack, one of the three All-Stars under the Beasts Pirates!

This guy was likely already in the first half of the Grand Line; otherwise, how could he arrive so quickly?

The Marines really didn't know what they were doing, allowing such a huge threat to enter the first half of the Grand Line. Didn't they realize how much harm it would cause the civilians?

Or did they simply not care about the civilians at all?!

"Jack the Drought, you're incredibly bold! Katakuri and Cracker were driven back, even Kaido himself was forced to retreat, and yet you dare to attack the Straw Hats.

It truly lives up to Sengoku singling you out in the original stories.

A true menace for Fujitora and Vice Admiral Tsuru! However, I won't show any mercy. Perhaps the Hundred Beasts Pirates will lose an All-Star!"

Carl's voice was ice-cold, and then he controlled the giant sword beneath him, flying into the sky in front of the Mammoth Pirate Ship.

"Master Jack! Master Jack! It's Carl, the Lightning Great Swordsman of the Straw Hat Pirates!" a sailor immediately shouted.

"Oh? This Carl isn't so insignificant that he dares to appear alone?"

The burly Jack walked to the bow, his braided ponytail, ivory decorations adorning his head, and metal jaws on his mouth giving him a menacing appearance.

He was clearly a Fish-Man; why pretend to be a mammoth?!

"Hey! Hello, Jack the Drought, who has a bounty of one billion but is only worth 900 million in ivory, have you come here to die?" Carl greeted with a grin.

Jack, who was about to retort fiercely, was taken aback by the words.

The other crew members were also stunned, and then they all showed signs of panic.

A bounty of one billion, but his ivory is worth 900 million? Wasn't that saying that Master Jack was only worth 100 million Berry? One of the magnificent Beasts Pirates' All-Stars being ridiculed as only being worth 100 million Berry was a massive insult!

Master Jack was going to be furious!

Sure enough, Jack roared, his face contorted with murderous intent. "You scrawny monkey, so you're that so-called lightning swordsman? You've got sharp teeth and a sharp tongue, daring to mock my uncle! You'll get what's coming to you!"

As he spoke, he directly drew a pair of bizarre sickle-shaped weapons.

Carl slowly drew the Third Generation Kitetsu, and in the next instant, unleashed a massive slash.

Startled, Jack immediately leaped forward, his pair of sickles thrust outwards, barely managing to block the attack. However, the terrifying power of the slash pressed down on Jack so intensely that his entire body trembled, as if he would be cleaved in two along with the massive ship in the next second.

"Argh!!! Let's go!"

With a furious roar, Jack raised his sickles, finally deflecting the slash into the sky.

The massive arc of energy soared upwards, instantly tearing apart the clouds.

The people on board were suddenly trembling with fear.

"Hehe, your strength is decent, but you're too slow!"

Carl's voice suddenly echoed from the side of the ship, and then the Third Generation Kitetsu slashed down again, directly towards the large ship.
