Chapter 111 - Servant Combat Assessment

The weekly servant assessment was a tradition on Twin Leaf Peak Sect—a time for the outer Court to monitor its cannon fodder servants, rank their usefulness, and occasionally spot one who wasn't completely useless.

Usually, it was a glorified slap fight in the dirt.

But not today.

Today… Han Yu showed up.

He strolled into the servant combat arena like a man who had just drunk the spiritual equivalent of jet fuel and survived. His robes were cleaner than usual, his eyes sharp, and his back straight—well, straighter than when he was curled in a fetal ball screaming from pill pain.

A small crowd of disciples and fellow servants were already gathering. Most were eager to see someone get dunked on. Han Yu, known widely as "that guy who punched an Indigo Talent Disciple in the nuts and knocked out the teeth of another."

They were all generally expecting him to flop and flail and cry at the first slap. Despite the fact that Han Yu's actual combat assessment had been quite good.
