"Hehe, Sister Qian, looks like I was right. That spatial fluctuation really did lead us to a treasure. Judging by the look of it, it's probably a cultivation technique or a Dou Technique."

Seeing the scroll suspended above the stone platform, the young man's face lit up with joy, and he immediately turned to the woman beside him.

What made this scroll different from the others they had found earlier was the way it was presented.

Upon spotting it, the woman—around thirty, with seductive charm written all over her face—had her eyes instantly filled with greed.

Anyone with a functioning brain could tell at a glance that this scroll was anything but ordinary.

She leaned in close to the man, a sweet and sultry expression on her face, and said in a honeyed tone, "Senior Brother Wei, there's only one scroll on that stone platform. What do you think...?"

As she spoke, the woman gently pressed up against the young man, pulling his arm directly into the soft mounds of her partially exposed chest.

"That vixen!"

Seeing this, the two old men accompanying the young master couldn't help but twitch at the corners of their eyes in irritation.

This wasn't the first time.

On this trip alone, they had encountered three stone platforms, and two of the treasures had already been snatched up by this damned temptress.

The only thing their young master had gotten was a sixth-grade medicinal pill that the woman had deemed beneath her notice.

One of the old men gritted his teeth, finally unable to hold back any longer. He stepped forward and tried to persuade the young master.

"Young Master, you've already given up enough. This time, we should really hold onto the scroll ourselves. Don't you think?"

This scroll was obviously special—perhaps a high-class cultivation technique or Dou Technique—and the old man simply couldn't bear to watch it slip through their fingers again.

"…That… does make some sense."

Hearing his guard's words, the young man nodded slightly, clearly agreeing.

That scroll didn't look like any low-grade item.

The old woman beside the seductive lady noticed the shift and quickly shot her a look.

If this scroll ended up in the hands of those men, it would surely be turned in to their sect.

How would they ever get a chance to bring it back to their own family?

After all, the sect's inner treasury wasn't something they could just take from.

This Dou Zun ruin was a golden opportunity to score big.

"Senior Brother Wei, why don't you just listen to Elder Cao and take that scroll for yourself?" the seductive woman chimed in, her voice soft and pitiful. "I only came here to broaden my horizons anyway. I never expected to take anything. If I go back empty-handed, at worst I'll get teased by my clan a little. It's really nothing…"

Hearing her words, the old man's heart sank.

He knew all too well how spineless his young master could be when faced with this woman's charm.

And he was furious at how shameless she was being.

The good stuff before had all ended up in her hands, and now she had the gall to say she'd be returning empty-handed?

"Sister Qian, I brought you here to explore the Dou Zun Ruins. How could I let you leave empty-handed?" the young man said, immediately puffing up with pride.

"Take the scroll. I'm a core disciple—I'm not short on resources. You inner disciples don't have access to many cultivation techniques or Dou Techniques. Maybe this one is perfect for you."

Sure enough, just as expected, her sweet talk worked like a charm.

"Oh, then I'll thank Senior Brother Wei in advance. Once we're out of these ruins… I'll do whatever you want~" she said with a wink.

Imagining the sultry little minx writhing under him, the young man laughed, "Haha, it's just a scroll. Whatever else you want later, Sister Qian, just say the word and it's yours."

"Young Master, if you give everything away like this, and end up leaving empty-handed, how are you going to explain that to the Sect Master?" the elder said urgently. "You've already upset him once. If this happens again, even if you are his son, I'm afraid you might lose your candidacy as heir!"

Hearing the elder's plea, the young man only frowned slightly and waved him off.

"Elder Cao, it's just a scroll. Whoever takes it doesn't matter. As long as none of us mention it to Father, who's going to know?" he said impatiently. "Enough with the nagging—I've made up my mind, and I'm not changing it."

At this point, he couldn't care less about consequences.

"You—!"

The old man nearly coughed up blood in anger. But after a moment, he could only shake his head with a bitter sigh.

He couldn't understand why the heir he had supported—his candidate for Sect Master—was so obsessed with this sect's very own shared concubine.

With a cold glare, he turned his eyes toward the seductive woman and her elder servant.

That damned vixen! Ever since she seduced the young master, she'd been draining him dry—taking resources, treasures, everything.

Every time he thought about it, the elder just wanted to kill both of them on the spot.

Inwardly, he began to wonder if it was too late to switch sides and support another Sect Master candidate.

As the group shamelessly divided up the spoils in front of everyone, completely ignoring anyone else…and especially watching the flirtatious antics between the man and woman, which were downright offensive to the eyes…a voice rang out from the side where someone had been silently watching the whole time.

"I say… are you all done chatting yet?" Lin Feng said flatly. "If you're finished, get lost. You're in my way."

Hearing the unfamiliar voice, the group finally turned their attention toward him.

They saw a middle-aged man—his real appearance concealed—looking to be in his forties.

The young man frowned and looked at the elder beside him.

After sensing Lin Feng's aura and confirming he was only a One-Star Dou Zong, the elder gave a slight nod, signaling that he could handle it.

"Kill him and bring me his storage ring," the young man said casually. "Let's see if he found anything good in this Dou Zun ruin."

"Yes, Young Master."

The elder nodded, then turned to Lin Feng with a chilling smile. "You had a good chance to run earlier. Too bad you didn't take it. Now, I'll personally send you to hell… heh heh."

After being annoyed all day, the elder was more than ready to vent his anger on someone. Lin Feng was the perfect outlet.

"Heh, I'd love to see if you actually can send me to hell," Lin Feng said with a smile.

Thinking the environment was perfect, he lightly tapped his Seren Sea Storage Ring.

With a flicker of light—

Boom!

Two towering silver figures appeared behind him.

"Yin Er, Ying Shan—go!"

Before the enemy had even recognized what kind of creatures these were, Lin Feng waved his hand and gave the order.

Since the others refused to give up the scroll, there was no need for further discussion.

This would be a fight to the death.

Whoosh!

Before Lin Feng's voice had even fully faded, the two Earth Demon Puppets behind him shot out like shadows, instantly charging toward the group.

"Damn it! Elder Liu, help me protect the Young Master!"

With a shout, the old man leapt forward, unleashing a Dou Technique as he collided with one of the charging silver shadows.
