Third person point of view
The next morning, Aravind woke up to his alarm. He groaned, rubbing his cheek on the thing he was sleeping on. It felt weird. It definitely was not a pillow. He slowly opened his eyes and was looking at Dev's chin. He slowly raised his head and Dev's face was right in front of his. He looked down and realized he was sleeping 'on' Dev.
His body was almost on top of Dev's. He didn't remember sleeping like that. He noticed he was wearing shorts which he knew he didn't wear before falling asleep. He looked up at Dev who was still sleeping. He smiled and slowly sat up. His phone alarm went off again. He turned quickly but felt a pain in the back.
He slowed his movements and picked up his phone. Dev woke up and opened his eyes to see Aravind sitting with a hand on his back. He also sat up and put his hand on Aravind's back, massaging with light pressure. Aravind turned to the side to look at Dev. Dev kissed on the corner of his lips and smiled.
" Good morning cute boy ". Aravind chuckled. He pinched Dev's cheek. " Cheeky bastard ". Dev rested his head on Aravind's shoulder. " You didn't go to gym ? " Aravind asked looking at the time. " I didn't feel like it ". Aravind let out a sigh in content as Dev's hand continued to give him a massage.
" We should get ready for college ". Dev lifted his head up. " You want to go to college ? " " Why not ? " Aravind asked turning to the side. " If your back hurts, you can just skip for today. I will manage it ". Aravind shook his head. " It is not that bad. I will be able to manage ". " Then how about I get you your things here ? Get ready here itself ".
" It is really fine ". Aravind assured but Dev still looked worried. " How about we go in a taxi or auto ? " Aravind sighed. He never knew Dev was such a worrywart. " If not for all of this happening, I wouldn't have seen these many different sides of you ". Aravind said and Dev let out a chuckle. Aravind also smiled.
" I really am fine. Give me the ointment. I will apply it once again. It should be fine ". Dev nodded. And so Aravind changed into his clothes and then went home with the ointment in his pocket. He directly went to his room and did his things. He felt better after another hot shower. He did lack energy, but he didn't mind it.
He had breakfast and went to his room to pick up his things. He took everything he needed and bid his mother bye. He walked out and went to Dev. " Don't say things like going in a car or anything else. I am fine and I will be able to manage. And if you keep insisting I will go in the bus by myself ". Dev zipped his mouth.
He gave the helmet to Aravind. They soon reached the college. They both got down. Dev looked at Aravind. Aravind looked back at Dev who looked like he would carry him to the class at the slightest sign of him being in pain. Aravind let out a sigh and sat down on the bike. He gestured for Dev to come closer. Dev moved closer with his ear towards Aravind.
" I am fine. Just stop acting like I am pregnant or something ". Aravind muttered in a small voice but Dev heard it all clearly. He stood up straight. Aravind waited for Dev to say something. " Got it ". Aravind smiled and got down the bike. They walked to the class and sat down. Aravind was able to sit fine for two classes but his backache still felt like a bother.
He changed his position and frowned a little. Dev noticed it. Aravind did use a spray but it didn't do much. Dev noticed everyone was focusing on the class. The lecturer turned to write on the board. Dev pulled Aravind closer. Aravind was baffled. He was about to remove Dev's hand but Dev started giving him a massage.
Aravind was surprised. Dev blinked with a small smile. He also smiled and continued to write notes. When it was lunch time, Aravind stood up and stretched. He cracked his back. It did feel better. Their day went by fine. They went to their own houses and Dev came for dinner. Aravind wondered what it would be like when they were alone that day.
They were done with dinner and Aravind was about to go to his room to take a bath when he heard Dev speaking to his father. " He need not come for today. They will come early in the morning, so I will be sleeping in the living room. It is fine ". Aravind felt a little unhappy. He didn't know why Dev didn't tell him that in advance.
His father nodded and they talked about something else. Aravind didn't pay attention anymore. They were done and Dev walked up to him. He was about to say that he will go back. " I have something to talk about the project. Go back after that ". Aravind said looking serious. Dev closed his mouth and nodded.
The others went to do their own things. Dev and Aravind went to Aravind's room. Aravind closed the door and they sat down on the bed. " Why ? " Aravind asked and Dev smiled putting his hands around Aravind. He didn't expect to be able to lock his fingers. Aravind didn't particularly have a small build, but now that he could do it; he liked it.
" I want you to rest and sleep well today. And my parents are really coming back early. I might not care about the bell if I sleep in my room. So I will sleep on the sofa in the living room ". Aravind nodded. " Did you look forward to tonight ? " Dev asked with a teasing smile. Aravind looked away without answering.
Dev chuckled. " Let's see. We might have another chance soon ". Aravind sneered. Dev grinned. " We should maybe do it in your house next time. What do you say ? " Aravind's eyes went wide. He might never be able to sleep peacefully in his room if that does happen. He shook his head vigorously making Dev laugh.
They chatted a little more and Dev left. Aravind fell asleep quickly wanting to rest more. Aravind felt all good the next day. Dev finally stopped worrying too. Their semester end exams were almost there. They only had a week till then. Their practical exams were done too. Aravind picked up his bag and walked out of his room.
He was going over for a study night. His mother looked at him. " Don't stay up too long ". Aravind nodded and walked out. He went and greeted Dev's parents and then went up to his room. He walked in and locked the door. Dev was sitting on the chair at his desk. Aravind pulled his chair back and sat down on his lap.
He looked at the book. " What topic are you reading ? " He turned to the side to look at Dev. " You are getting really comfortable these days ". Dev commented and Aravind smiled. He flipped the pages and looked at the notes. He took the pen in Dev's hand. " This is a minus here ". He corrected and Dev leaned forward.
" Right. I guess you don't need my help anymore. You got smarter ". Aravind blinked and looked at the book. " How can you say that ? I just did this a while ago, so I know it ". Dev nodded. Aravind got up and fell on the bed. Dev turned around in his chair. " Aren't you here to study ? " " I am ". Aravind answered without changing his position.
Dev chuckled. " Come here ". Aravind said and Dev stood up. He looked down at Aravind. " Closer ". Aravind said and Dev bent at his waist. Aravind sat up and pulled Dev onto him by holding his shirt. Dev was shocked at the sudden pull. He put his elbows on the bed supporting himself. Aravind chuckled.
" I don't think you are here to study ". Dev said, narrowing his eyes. " Then why are you waiting if you know it ? " Aravind asked back. Dev smirked and nuzzled his cheek. " I don't mind but if you get too loud, we will get found out ". Aravind thought about it. " I can keep my mouth shut. Or I will just bite you if I want to scream ".
Dev snickered. So his shoulder was being sacrificed. " Fine ". Aravind pulled him down for a kiss and Dev responded back quickly. They didn't need to go to college and study at home, so Aravind didn't worry much. He should be able to manage. There was no going back after tasting the forbidden fruit.
