Chapter 51 - Chapter 50

Third person point of view

The next day, they went out along with Krishna. Krishna first took them to the temple of the local goddess. From there they went to the fields. Krishna introduced a guy called Ravi who was the same age as them. Ravi took them around the whole morning, showing them around. They then had lunch outside at a local place which was famous for their local dishes.

After that, they went to find Krishna. Ravi went to work after dropping them off. " How was it ? " Dev and Aravind explained how they enjoyed. They went around with Krishna and then went home in the evening. Aravind was tired from all the walking around. He took a shower and fell lifelessly on the bed. Dev chuckled looking at him.

They had dinner together and Aravind was out like light as soon as his head hit the pillow. The next day, Krishna took them to the other side where they had some more land. There was a house there which Krishna stayed in from time to time. It was a simple single bedroom house and was minimally decorated.

The weather cooled down a lot in the afternoon. They were going around when they found Ravi. They greeted each other and Ravi spoke to Krishna about something. " You also want to join ? " Krishna asked. Dev and Aravind didn't know what it was about. " They are going to play kabaddi nearby. You can join if you want to. Or just go watch ". Dev and Aravind nodded.

Krishna went into the house and came out with a small bag. " Change of clothes ". Dev took the bag and Krishna also handed them keys. " The bike is parked in the shed on the right side ". Krishna informed and they all left the place together. Dev and Aravind followed on the bike while Ravi drove in his own bike.

When they reached, they noticed it was a wet mud field. Their eyes went wide. Aravind shook his head violently. Dev chuckled. Ravi went and removed his sandals. He joined the others who were already inside. They played while Dev and Aravind just cheered from the outside. " You don't want to play ? " Aravind asked. Dev shrugged.

Aravind glanced at the field and smirked. He moved closer to Dev. " Bava... If you win, let's do it tonight ". Dev's eyes went wide. " Three points ". Aravind put a condition and Dev turned to look at the match. They were currently in a tie. He gulped at the tempting offer. " You are not going back on your words ". " I won't ". Aravind smiled.

Dev nodded with determination and removed his slippers. He rolled his pants up and got into the field. He found it a little difficult to walk at first but got used to it by the time he reached them. Ravi saw him and smiled. They quickly substituted one of them with Dev. Dev talked with them and they continued to play. He grit his teeth. He was going to win this.

Aravind didn't really expect Dev to win. Both the teams were giving tough competition, so he didn't know how it would turn out. Dev found it difficult due to the field but he got used to it rather quickly. Both of the teams were full of energy as they played. Dev helped tackle the other team member and his defense was strong.

They won one point. Aravind cheered. When they went over for their turn, they lost a point. Aravind still cheered. He was in support of both the teams. The next few turns no one gained any points. Dev went over when it was their turn. Aravind was lost. He didn't know if he should cheer for Dev or hope for him to lose.

Dev was able to move away swiftly and he got them a point. The next few turns again went with no points being gained. Dev once again went and both of them felt equally nervous. Aravind's fist was clenching. Dev clenched his jaw and played his best and won them a point. Their team cheered as they won the game.

They were all covered in mud. Dev also had it all over himself. He walked up to Aravind with a triumphant smile. Aravind had to admit, Dev still looked handsome. He sneered. " You got lucky ". Dev stared in disbelief. " I played my ass off ". Aravind laughed. " Anna ! " Ravi called them. " There is a stream nearby. Let's go take a bath ". Dev nodded.

They all walked for a while and reached the place. There were steps to go down. Aravind sat on the top while the others went down. They all went in with their clothes on. They washed off the mud as much as possible and then removed their clothes leaving only their briefs on. Aravind looked away and looked around for a while.

He glanced at them and saw they were all laughing and playing in the river. They washed themselves and swam around in the cool water. Aravind looked up at the cloudy sky. It was a lot more cloudy than when they started playing. They all got out one after the other and put on the clothes they had. Dev walked up to Aravind.

Aravind looked anywhere but Dev. Dev took the clothes in the bag and wore them. The t-shirt was Krishna's and he actually gave a lungi. Dev knew how to use it and quickly put it on. He saw a cover in the bag and put all the wet clothes in it. " Done ". Aravind turned to Dev and burst out laughing when he saw his outfit.

Dev let out a huff. He waited for Aravind to stop laughing. Aravind was gasping for breath and wiped his tears. He once again laughed when he saw Dev. Dev looked down at himself and then at Aravind. " Do I look that bad ? " Aravind stopped laughing and stood up straight. He shook his head. He gulped and coughed a little.

" You look fine. You actually look like that one guy in the village who is like the main lead and everyone keeps asking to marry their daughter ". Aravind laughed a little more. Dev shook his head. The others walked up to them. They all talked a little and started to leave. They went back to where they parked their vehicles.

" Should I drive ? " Aravind asked. Dev gave him the keys. Aravind got on and started the bike. Dev got on and sat properly. The others waved them bye. Ravi also left as he would be going home. Aravind also drove to go back home. They were the last to depart. Dev moved closer to his ear. He put his hands on Aravind's thighs.

Aravind was wearing a thin sweat pant and he could feel the coldness from Dev's hands. Dev rubbed his thighs suggestively. " Remember what you said. I am definitely not letting you go tonight ". Aravind had goose bumps. He gulped not saying anything and drove home. Dev smiled and sat back, enjoying the cool breeze.
