"I have an idea," I said.
"Go ahead," said Yidi.
"How about something like Soul Sundering?"
"Soul Sundering?" asked Zhan as he looked over Yidi's shoulder at what he was looking up on his laptop. "Is it related to Soul Forging?"
It was half an hour and many attempts at shattering the jade later.
"No idea," I replied, "But I wouldn't be surprised if it is."
Yidi finished typing. "Ah, I found an entry. In Soul Sundering, a special technique is used to make an incision into the subject's soul... then... however..." His voice trailed off but I knew he'd found the right entry and I couldn't help marvel for a moment at the power of Shengnü and also feel slightly concerned that such a dangerous technique was just floating around on it for anyone to find.
Or at least, anyone with beta access.
I made a mental note to remind Yidi about the security later...
