Of course he did not consider him a friend but right now, he had to act coolly.
"He's not my friend. He's actually the suspect I was telling you about." He whispered to the police chief.
"Suspect?" The chief scoffed, as he looked at Julio who pretended not to be looking their way.
"Yes. I was trying to figure out things about him and reasons to bring him in for investigation before all of this. And that's who David was supposed to have been watching." He explained.
"Well, then I think you can take him off your suspects list because when everything was happening upstairs, he was downstairs with the others and they were waiting. The killer was not with them." Chief Hanks explained.
This did not sit down right with the detective and he was actually beginning to hope that he was not acting out of jealousy right now. He had just wanted to be right for once in this case and he was not buying it. Something still did not feel right with this man and he would know what it was.
