WDQK—Chapter 93: Why Do Some People Always Want to Die?

"According to the timing, in about five months, the seal of the Great Wasteland Ancient Tablet will weaken."

Jiang Lei smiled warmly. "During this period, more and more people are rushing to Great Desolate County. I wanted to ask if you're also coming for the Great Wasteland Ancient Tablet."

Lin Tian nodded slightly and smiled. "Thank you, Master Jiang, for informing me. Since we have time, we might as well join the fun."

Jiang Lei remarked, "With Mr. Lin Tian's strength, you'll surely gain something from the Great Wasteland Ancient Tablet."

"Haha, I'll take your good word for it," Lin Tian chuckled confidently.

Next, Jiang Lei discussed the major forces in Great Desolate County with Lin Tian and the others, providing detailed information about the three dominant factions: the Ghastly Puppet Cult, the Great Devil Sect, and the Martial Alliance.

They chatted and laughed as the journey continued, and half a day later, the team finally emerged from the foggy area.

When warm sunlight pierced through the mist and bathed everyone, the already exhausted members of the Eagle Martial Dojo cheered immediately.

Lin Tian felt the warmth on his skin and breathed a sigh of relief.

"Mr. Lin Tian, please return with us to Great Eagle City first," Jiang Lei said kindly. "Since you're new here, I think it would be beneficial for you to stay in Great Eagle City for a few days. That way, you can familiarize yourself with the terrain and power distribution of Great Desolate County, which will help with your next steps."

After exiting the mist forest, Jiang Lei invited Lin Tian into a carriage.

Lin Tian looked at Qingtan and Lin Dong and asked with a smile, "What do you think?"

Qingtan replied, "I'll listen to Brother Lin Tian."

Lin Dong added, "I think Master Jiang's suggestion is a good idea."

"Alright, then I'll accept Master Jiang's kind offer," Lin Tian agreed with a smile.

Jiang Lei's face lit up with excitement. "It's our honor that the three of you are willing to accompany us to Great Eagle City."

Since Lin Tian and his companions agreed, their convoy didn't slow down, rushing toward their destination.

It was nearly dusk when they finally arrived in Great Eagle City.

They drove straight into the city, traversing the wide streets for over ten minutes before stopping in front of a sprawling martial arts dojo.

"The owner is back!"

Guards lined the front of the dojo, and upon seeing the convoy, they shouted in surprise.

Soon after, a crowd poured out of the dojo—vastly outnumbering the Raging Blade Dojo in Qingyang Town.

"Master, you're back..."

A figure, seemingly a high-ranking member of the dojo, hurried toward Jiang Lei with an anxious look.

Seeing this, Jiang Lei's smile faded slightly. He waved his hand to silence him, then turned to Jiang Xue and said, "Xue'er, take Master Lin Tian and the others inside to rest first and show them to the best guest rooms."

"Father?" Jiang Xue, always perceptive, sensed something was off and softly asked.

"Go," Jiang Lei said simply, clearly not wanting to discuss it further.

Jiang Xue nodded and led Lin Tian and the others to their rooms.

After she left, Lin Dong approached Lin Tian's door and whispered, "Brother Lin Tian, I think the Eagle Martial Dojo might be in trouble."

Lin Tian smiled calmly. "Wherever you are, conflict is inevitable; it's not unusual."

"Should we intervene?" Lin Dong asked eagerly.

"Let's wait and see what happens," Lin Tian replied casually.

After a few more words, Lin Dong returned to his room.

Lin Tian took out the Thunderbolt Sword Technique he had acquired earlier that day and studied it carefully.

The technique comprises three styles: Thunderbolt Strike, Five Thunders, and Sword-Driven Thunder.

- Thunderbolt Strike emphasizes speed—extreme speed. With a single sword, it strikes as fast as thunder, capable of killing in an instant.

- Five Thunders is a ranged attack. With one sword, it can trigger thunder within a radius of 100 feet, unleashing devastating power.

- Sword-Driven Thunder involves channeling Yuanli through the sword. The sword moves like thunder, reaching its target instantly, capable of killing enemies hundreds or thousands of meters away.

Very impressive!

Having thoroughly studied the Thunderbolt Sword Technique, Lin Tian felt quite satisfied.

However, this technique was not suitable for practice indoors.

He wasn't in a hurry. After practicing Tianxuan Gong (Heavenly Profound Art) for a while, he went to bed and rested.

No words were exchanged throughout the night.

The next morning, Jiang Xue waited outside the guest room early.

Before parting yesterday, they had agreed that Jiang Xue would take them into the city today to buy a map of Great Desolate County and distribution maps of various forces.

Lin Tian and his companions didn't keep her waiting long and soon prepared to leave.

The group exited the Eagle Martial Dojo together.

As they stepped out, they encountered Jiang Yinyin, the little girl.

Jiang Yinyin saw Jiang Xue going out shopping with Lin Tian's group and immediately insisted on tagging along.

Unable to resist her adorable little sister, Jiang Xue quickly agreed.

The five of them, along with Huo'er and Little Flame, left the dojo and headed toward the trading district.

These areas offered not only a variety of goods but also intelligence and information.

Led by Jiang Xue, they quickly completed their shopping.

Afterward, Jiang Xue, acting as their guide, was ready to lead them back.

But as they exited the market, Jiang Xue suddenly slowed her pace and frowned slightly, staring ahead.

Lin Tian raised an eyebrow and followed her gaze, quickly spotting more than a dozen figures approaching.

On their chests, embroidered a badge depicting a blood-red vulture.

Bloody Vulture Dojo!

Seeing the badge, Lin Tian immediately recognized the affiliation.

"Haha, Xue'er, what a coincidence!" a voice called out.

The group hurried over, and the leader, holding a folding fan, smiled at Jiang Xue.

He looked about twenty-four or twenty-five, with somewhat feminine features, and his smile made others feel uneasy.

"Let's go," Jiang Xue said coldly, fixing her beautiful eyes on him, then turned to Lin Tian and the others.

"Long time no see! Xue'er, why didn't you say hello?" the man grinned, staring at her with burning eyes.

His men also smirked and formed a line to block their path.

"Luo Shan, get out of the way!" Jiang Xue snapped sharply.

Her pretty face was cold as she scolded him.

"Xue'er, it's not polite to ignore me," Luo Shan said with a smile. "You know, the Bloody Vulture Dojo has challenged your Eagle Martial Dojo. My father is ready to fight your father to the death!"

He waved his folding fan and added, "And I've heard that my father has advanced to the Advanced Form Creation Stage."

Advanced Form Creation Stage!

Jiang Xue's face paled at his words.

"Hehe, Xue'er, I've had feelings for you for a long time. If you were to follow me, your dojo might still have a chance to survive…" Luo Shan's sinister smile grew.

"Dream on!" Jiang Xue's body trembled with anger, her voice sharp.

"Haha, you'll come to find me," Luo Shan chuckled and cast a sidelong glance at Lin Tian and Lin Dong. "Don't keep that trash around you in the future—I don't like it."

He then eyed Qingtan and Jiang Yinyin with obvious greed. "And I'd love to take that beauty and Xiao Yinyin along."

"Brother Lin Tian, that man's gaze is disgusting," Qingtan said, feeling a wave of revulsion, hiding behind Lin Tian.

Luo Shan's expression darkened. "Go! Capture that little girl. I want to teach her what true disgust looks like!"

Hearing Luo Shan's command, two members of the Bloody Vulture Dojo moved toward Qingtan.

"Why do some people always want to die?" Lin Tian's eyes flashed coldly as he softly spoke.
