Fresh from the bath, Jihoon stepped into the bedroom, his skin warm and flushed from the fading steam. His clothes smelled of clean linen, crisp and comforting. A towel hung loosely around his neck as he rubbed his damp hair dry.
He peacefully settled on the edge of the bed, letting his weight sink into the fluffy mattress.
Reaching over, he opened the bedside drawer and rummaged through until his fingers brushed the familiar shape of the hair dryer. He pulled it out and plugged it into the socket near the headboard.
A low mechanical whirr filled the otherwise quiet room as soon as he turned it on.
Jihoon tested the temperature against his palm, then tilted his head forward, guiding the dryer in slow, lazy strokes. His free hand tossed and parted the strands, helping them dry faster. Warm air coursed over his scalp, and he let his eyes flutter half-shut…
Until a faint sound broke through.
He paused, frowning as he realised the dryer's hum wasn't the only noise.
