"Your daughter is so rude, Jeon.J!"
The night was perfectly still — the sky completely open above them, stars scattered like someone had tossed glitter across a dark canvas. Spring had just begun; the air was cool but soft, carrying the fresh scent of blooming flowers.
Jeon.J was lying on the poolside lounger, her head resting gently on his shoulder. He didn't open his eyes right away.
"Mmm… this is too nice a night for complaints."
She turned her face toward him.
"Don't 'too nice' me. You need to hear this. Your daughter is impossible."
He finally cracked open one eye and grinned lazily.
"Okay, I'm listening. What did Masal do this time? And I promise — this time I'm on your side."
"Promise?" she asked suspiciously.
"Promise."
She crossed her arms dramatically.
"Fine. Here's what happened…"

Flashback Scene – Masal with Amma
The kitchen was warm with the sound of oil sizzling when Masal stormed in, holding an empty glass like it was a piece of crime evidence.
"Amma!" she yelled.
"Masa drank my banana milk again!"
Amma didn't look up from the stove.
"So? Drink another one."
Masal gasped as if she had just been betrayed.
"Another one? That was my last one! I saved that banana milk since morning and even made it myself!"
She pointed toward the living room where Masa was sitting with a guilty little smile.
"I just went to get my tab, Amma! Two minutes — and he finished it. I can't live like this!"
Amma calmly wiped her hands.
"If you can't live like this, then pack your bag and go."
Masal blinked, stunned — then narrowed her eyes like a tiny villain.
"Fine! I will!"
She stomped to her room, threw random toys into her tiny backpack, and marched back like a warrior returning from battle.
Amma handed her the bag and opened the front door.
"Here. Out you go."
Masal clutched the bag to her chest and glared.
"You don't even know my Uncle Teahun! If he finds out you threw me out, he'll send you back to your country!"
Amma laughed, shaking her head.
"Ahhh? Just like I send him out of my house every five days because he always defends you when you're wrong — the same way I throw you out five days a week because of your fast tongue! Don't threaten me, Masal. You've already burned my blood enough today."
Masal's tiny face turned red — she gave one final stomp and marched out of the house, heading straight to her father's studio (just one building away).

Studio Scene
Teahun was lounging on the couch in the studio when the door flew open. Masal marched in, backpack over her shoulder like a runaway heroine.
"Runaway number one has arrived!" Teahun said, sitting up with a laugh.
"What did Amma do this time?"
Masal put her bag down dramatically.
"Amma is very bad today. Send her to her country!"
Everyone burst out laughing.
Someone joked, "This is episode one of this week's drama!"
Jeon.J, who had been on the phone, looked up and sighed with a helpless smile.
"Great. First day of the week and Masal's first day leaving home."
Masal crossed her arms and pouted like a queen, enjoying all the attention.

Back to Present
She threw her hands in the air.
"And of course, she told everyone I kicked her out — and they all laughed like it was a comedy show!"
Jeon.J burst out laughing just remembering it.
"Of course they did! It was the first day of the week — perfect timing for the first drama of the week."
She glared.
"You think this is funny?"
Jeon.J tried to look serious but failed, his shoulders shaking with suppressed laughter.
"Okay, okay. Tonight I'm still on your side… but you have to admit — she's very creative."
She rolled her eyes, muttering under her breath.
Like always, Masal had managed to win — even without being there.
