Chapter 476 - Let’s Begin

"Yes," Veyra said. "The ring reacts. When something inside it shifts even a little, it sends a signal. Respect that. It understands its limits better than we do."

The room went quiet. Everyone were silently thinking. It was the kind of silence that shows people are paying attention.

Veyra let it sit for a moment. Her eyes stayed on the floating map in front of them, the strange landscape hovering in the air with its soft colors, calm lakes, and slow-moving terrain.

"This place is not our enemy," she said. "It reflects us. We enter clean and we leave honest. That is enough."

No one answered. They did not need to. The projection turned one last time, showing the full ring glowing with a steady light, then folded into thin lines and faded. A bit of gold shimmered on the table before it disappeared.

Veyra gave a single nod. "Prepare your sectors. The students begin at dawn."
