Chapter 209 - When a Class Hits Different

Scavratt laughed, his chains dragging as he stepped forward.

"So this is the peak of A-rank? What a joke."

He slammed his foot down, rust bursting out from the impact.

The ground cracked. Rust trails spread in every direction.

He lifted his arms, flexing his claws as his Decay Chain Whip uncoiled behind him.

"You're done, old man."

He stepped closer, but then his grin started to fade.

The air was getting hotter. A lot hotter.

Scavratt's eyes narrowed.

He looked at his rusted chain. It was glowing red.

His armor hissed. He touched it—his claws burned slightly.

"What the…"

The cloud of rust around him started to thin.

The floating dust turned black, then flared and vanished into sparks.

"That's not normal fire."

He backed up a step. His eyes locked on Blazren.

The old man was kneeling, breathing hard, but the flame around him grew.

"No. That's not… he's not just using abilities…"

The flame around Blazren wasn't just heating the air.
