Zain's eyes slowly opened. His nose twitched. "…Smells good."
He sat up, stretched once, and followed the scent to the hall.
A huge pot sat on the table, steam rolling out of it.
Inside, he saw thick soup with chunks of meat floating on top.
Zelia looked up and smiled. "Zain, you're awake. I've prepared food for you."
"This is bird devil soup. Eat it while it's hot. There's more coming after this."
Zain stepped closer, inhaling the aroma. "Smells amazing, big sister."
"Of course," Zelia said with a small laugh. "I made it myself."
He grabbed the spoon, took a sip, and his eyes widened. "Wow… delicious."
Zelia smirked. "Naturally. You think I'd serve you something bad?"
Instead of sipping slowly, Zain lifted the pot with both hands and drank straight from it.
The hot broth and meat slid down his throat, and his [Heavenly Demon God] ability instantly went to work, converting it all into [Heavenly Demon Ether].
