"...And lastly this is the school library, and...." The man paused, closing the distance between him and the other person.
In a hush voice he whispered,"Also known as the "Hiding place" of students who wants to regain some sleep"
The person beside him chuckled, shaking his head.
He playfully flick the man's ear, and In a reprimanding tone he said, " More like 'Your' hiding place Olius, you know what you really should study well, now that you're in college. I don't recommend slacking off, it won't do you good, take your studies seriously... Listen to aunty"
Olius rub his ears, and scoffed as he retort the statement from the other person " Oh, c'mon... Some fun won't do me any harm you know? And also mom is exaggerating, as long as I passed college I will be okay"
The other man just let out a sigh.
He look at the library door, he don't know why but he seems to be enticed to enter. As if something worthy is waiting on the other side of the door. Olius notice his gaze that seems to linger on the door, so he suggested that they should check out the library.
Once they entered, what welcomed them is the empty seats inside. It's still too early for students to come here. There is also no one in the counter, the librarian seems to be away for who knows what.
As they look around for a while, Olius voice suddenly resounded. The man heard him call someone's name.
"Oh, Nathan! I didn't expect you'd be here at this hour. Did Mr. Messiah told you to self study again? Btw, where is Liam?" Olius said as he approach the person sitting on the table behind one of the book shelf.
Nathan did not answer Olius question, his attention immediately focused on the person behind his friend.
He looked carefully at the man, who is wearing their school uniform. Seeing Olius and him together, he must be the transfer student that his friend wants to introduce to them.
His gaze went to the man's face, trying to remember every detail of him. The man, who's eyes is a hue of black, that seems to turn brown once the sunlight touch it. His thick eyebrow that compliments his eyes. The nose and jaw of a greek god, and the pink lips that seems soft that suddenly move upward, smiling at him.
Nathan averted his eyes, mentally slapping him self for staring too long at the man. The first day that they met, and he acted like a creep.
Olius on the other hand seems to hold back his laughter, recieving a glare from Nathan. Seeing this, he cleared his throat and looked toward the man behind him.
"So...this is my friend Nathan" Olius introduce his friend who only smiled lightly at the man.
"And Nathan, this is my childhood friend and neighbor Eros, I suppose I told you already about him being a transfer student"
Nathan only nodded, Eros in the other hand, offered his hand for a shake to Nathan.
"Hello, I'm Eros! Nice to meet you Nathan. I hope you don't mind me wanting to be your friend too." Eros said, giving nathan a gentle smile.
Nathan accepted the hand offered to him. He also smile toward Eros, nodding to his request." Sure, it's my pleasure to be your friend. Nice to meet you, I hope you'll be kind to me"
Eros slightly baffled by Nathan straightforward statement, chuckled softly.
Their hands still intertwined, he said. " I will, thank you for accepting me as your friend"
"Ehem...." The atmosphere was a little bit shattered when Olius hummed. Nathan turned his head toward Olius direction, he felt a little awkward by his interaction with Eros. While the said guy just cluelessly looked at Owen's place.
"Sorry to interrupt your heartfelt moment, but we need to go to our respective class now... Especially you two, I heard from Liam that your prof for your first subject is that old hag . You know how that old woman acts toward her students" Olius said, a bit of distaste evident in his tone.
Eros nodded, he turned to look at Nathan, slight smile plastered on his face.
He said," Well, it seems like we both have the same major, I hope you don't mind walking with me toward our classroom"
Nathan felt awkward not because of his presence, he thought this guy is too polite.
He nodded, then replied, " Sure, since you'll be part of our group now, I don't really mind"
In his mind, he wonder if his words doesn't comes out as offensive. He don't really want to come off as unwelcoming toward their new friend. After all, he ( Eros ) seems kind.
After that conversation, the three of them exited the library. Olius parted ways with them because the direction to his class, is different from the two.
Through out their walk, Eros occasionally asks some questions regarding their school. Nathan just answers with what he knows.
Not long after, they reached the room designated for their first class today. Nathan spotted Liam to his usual seat, at the back and near a window. He saw an empty seat besides Liam seat. He was actually worried that Eros might need to sit far away from them. But good for them, there's an extra empty seat yet to be occupied by their classmates.
They sat there, Liam to throwing questioning looks toward Nathan direction when he saw Eros besides him.
" Oh, he is Owens...friend right?" Nathan said, unsure if he introduce him correctly. Eros nodded with a smile.
"And his cousin too...Well, you must be Liam right? Nice to meet you Liam, I'm Eros. Owen told me a lot about you..."
Liam can't help but smirk hearing that. He playfully nodded then said, " I see, I'll talk with him about that later...for now you guys take a sit, that old hag will be here in 5 mins"
They took their seats, and while waiting for their professor they used the time to have a little conversation about some stuffs.
