Knowing where they were headed was no hard feat, they were able to get out of the forest in a few hours, and they could see the two in the distance.

"That's a human town?" Pentharis asked.

"You haven't seen one before?" Aric asked.

"No, lesser spirits need to be in a place filled with enough spiritual energy to keep them alive, leaving the forest would have been suicide for us," he explained. He stared at the town a little more and then spoke.

"I kind of expected more."

"There are better human towns and cities, but this one is at the bad end of the spectrum in development," Elisa said, "probably because the baron is a selfish person that only wants profit. He would rather take it into his own pocket than offer the prompt development."

"Shouldn't you know about the baron, Elisa? After all, you are a noble as well," Aric asked.

"I think I've heard of Baron Fredrick before, but I can't remember," she said.
