Aric used the root until they made it out of the town. The townspeople watched in amazement and shock as a massive root tore through their streets.
When they got to the border of the forest, they all came down from the root. Aric looked at the town in the distance and shook his head.
"I guess getting along with him is off the table now," Aric said.
"They'll surely retaliate for what you did," Ariel said.
"And we will be waiting for them, ready. I'm done with holding back. We don't need them for the development of Terra," Aric said and turned, facing the forest.
He walked into it, vanished within the trees. Ariel, Elisa, and Pentharis followed him in. They travelled for a while, and when they finally arrived at the village, Aric was shocked to find out that all the ohries had evolved while he was away.
He had given Unara the task to ensure that all of them got their true names, and it seemed she found a way to do that.
