Hearing Axel's question, Elias momentarily froze.
It wasn't the first time he had heard the Alpha ask him that. Axel had posed him a similar question on that fateful night six years ago.
Or at least Elias had thought he had done at the time. In retrospect, he wasn't so sure whether that had truly happened, or whether it had just been a dream his feverish mind had conjured in the middle of his heat. After all, considering what had happened the morning after…
Now wasn't the time to think about the past, though, so Elias pushed all the memories away, and focused on trying to come up with a response.
Did he want to date Axel? Well, it was certainly good for his plans. A very risky choice, since the closer he got to Axel, the higher the chances of his real identity getting exposed, but what other option did he have? Having no money or power, only by taking risks did Elias have any chances of accomplishing anything.
