The host's voice continued, drawing their attention back to the situation.
"As you may understand, you will now be fighting monsters one round after another, until you either pass or fail."
"Soon, the monsters will come streaming into your arena through one of the four gates. Initially, you will face only one monster at a time, but as the trial progresses, the number will increase."
The voice paused, letting that information sink in.
"After every nine beasts, you will face a Boss monster on the 10th round. Regular monsters will be at the 5th Opal stage, while Boss monsters will be at the 1st Emerald stage."
Jax felt the difficulty of the trial. 5th Opal Stage monsters were easily doable, but 1st Emerald stage bosses were a different deal. Not to mention, they were going to have to fight way more than just a few of them since they would have to fight round after round.
Fatigue would be the biggest issue they would have to face at that moment.
