Chapter 46 - Chapter 46

When Weiss finished her 100 laps around the world and returned home, she landed directly in the courtyard while ignoring the prying eyes of those who guarded the area as if it were the walls of a prison.

Not to contain what was inside, something impossible to do, but to prevent others from approaching.

After Ozpin's visit almost three months ago, Vegeta's house was classified as a restricted area that had to be protected 24 hours a day.

Not even Council Members or Headmasters had such security.

In fact, Ozpin had gone further and even bought all the houses around this area, leaving them uninhabited.

All to prevent Vegeta from being disturbed.

Still, there were those whose curiosity and obsession knew no bounds.

It started with Neopolitan, a resentful girl who was after Ruby because of what she did to Roman Torchwick, and who soon suffered the same fate as her partner.

While her Semblance was powerful and versatile, just as the girl herself had proved to be in combat, it wasn't enough against an opponent who outclassed her in every sense of the word.

Thanks to this, Neo shared a prison cell with her partner in crime, courtesy of a Ruby who was making maximum use of her powers for the good of the world.

In recent months, after going through basic training and helping with all the rescue operations, thus gaining control over her powers and Vegeta's permission, Ruby has made countless arrests of wanted criminals all over the world.

All this to try and make up for her mistake in causing the Red Calamity.

It didn't matter whether the Dragon Balls, mystical objects capable of granting wishes, were real or not; Ruby couldn't wait three months without doing anything.

Now, she was basically the hero she had always wanted to be, honoring her mother's legacy and not the monster who had caused so much pain and suffering.

Then there was Cinder Fall.

Another extremely skilled girl who was beyond the level of a mere student and who transferred from Haven to Beacon before Mistral fell.

Cinder was different from Neo in her motives and didn't break into Vegeta's house for revenge against one of its inhabitants.

No, her goal was different and unexpected as she fell to her knees in front of Vegeta and begged to be accepted as one of his apprentices.

At that moment, no one could find it in themselves to oppose her request.

At the end of the day, the decision was entirely up to Vegeta, and the girls had no say in it.

In fact, they were lucky to have been the first ones to meet him and ask for his teachings.

However, that changed when they realized that this girl was willing to do anything to be accepted, even offering her body in servitude...in more ways than one.

Weiss had seen desperate people before, but Cinder was on another level.

The reason for this?

No one but Vegeta knew, and not voluntarily.

Apparently, he could read other people's memories just by touching their heads.

One of the many applications of Ki, and one that was as frightening as it was useful.

No secret was safe before Vegeta.

Given the expression on Cinder's face and the way she visibly cowered in fear as she understood what had just happened, this girl's past was not pretty, and perhaps it was for this exact reason that Vegeta had allowed her into the house.

It was a surprising decision for everyone, including the girl in question, and it raised questions that had yet to be clarified.

However, there was a catch behind Vegeta's decision.

Cinder would have to prove herself worthy of his teachings, just as Yang and Blake had done.

With that being decided, she began helping with rescue operations, exterminating Grimm, and apprehending criminals.

That, and Cinder also became responsible for keeping house as a maid.

Literally.

The girl even went out of her way to buy a uniform, but not a normal one, but a Sexy Cosplay one, just like Yang had done with her teacher's clothes.

By the gods, as much as Weiss hated to admit it, Cinder was one of the most beautiful women she had ever seen in this world, and that meant a lot coming from her.

Honestly, Weiss was amazed that Vegeta was able to resist her advances, but considering that even Yang wasn't making much progress, maybe it was just as expected.

Still, Weiss didn't like this, not even one bit.

Not only was this woman extremely beautiful and assertive with her maturity, but she even dared to break into Vegeta's room at night.

If it had been any other man, Cinder would have had him on a leash by now.

Fortunately, that wasn't the case, and Vegeta always kicked her out of his room, often with her only in her underwear.

Cheap slut. Whatever her motives, it didn't matter, and Weiss didn't intend to accept her as she had done with Yang. Because she's not interested in Vegeta; she's interested in his power.

Someone like that couldn't be trusted.

Speaking of her.

The girl stood there, her golden eyes watching the training in progress, and frustration written all over her beautiful face.

The reason for that?

Cinder, just like anyone else in this world who didn't have access to their Ki, couldn't keep up with the speed of those training before her.

In the middle of the courtyard, there were Blake and Yang, both advancing towards Vegeta while burning with power that could rival what Weiss and Ruby used to have after recovering from the fight against the Nergigante, being more than enough to destroy a moon.

This served to show the difference between training normally and having your hidden potential awakened, along with the evolution of a Semblance.

One month- that's how long it took these two to access their Ki, and the process wasn't pretty.

As Vegeta didn't want to help directly to avoid problems and their Aura kept getting in the way, they had to exhaust their Aura reserves first before they could even try.

Often, they had to do this several times a day.

After this torture session ended, the real training began, and, counting the time inside the Hyperbolic Chamber of Time, it took Yang and Blake five months to obtain the level of power that Ruby and Weiss achieved in a mere week.

Of course, this was only Blake and Yang's base form, very different from Ruby and Weiss, who at first needed transformations to raise their powers to this level.

Something that had changed, and fast.

Regardless, these two were giving it their all, and as expected, it wasn't enough to force the opponent in front of them to open his eyes or even use a single drop of his power.

When Vegeta faced any of them other than Weiss, he only made use of his massive reserves of Aura and superior physique.

A way of challenging himself and increasing his mastery over this new power.

Yang and Blake, on the other hand, were pushing themselves to the limit and beyond, only to be unable to even touch him.

A feeling that Weiss understood all too well, since she didn't fare much better and could only force him to use a little of his Ki.

How crazy was that?

According to Vegeta, half a year ago, Weiss was already capable of destroying a small planet like Remnant, and her power level had grown tenfold since then.

Still, it didn't seem like much had changed... for now.

Soon, Weiss would be able to balance her Aura reserves with her current level of Ki, and her power would reach a whole new level.

All thanks to the new training method Vegeta had developed to increase his Aura reserves.

Soul Resonance, he called it.

Every time Weiss and Vegeta connected emotionally, their souls responded to it and grew stronger as a result.

Now, they simulated this connection through meditation by circulating Aura in each other's bodies.

Honestly, it was a magical experience that only brought them closer together...and made it difficult to resist certain desires.

"You two are still relying too much on your eyes," Vegeta said as he deflected or, at most, redirected Yang and Blake's attacks with no more than a finger. "Use your senses to anticipate my movements and move accordingly."

An almost impossible task, especially when they had only just begun to learn to sense energy. On the other hand, they had been training to rely on their other senses for years and couldn't rewrite the training that had come before.

"You talk like it's easy!" Yang's eyes were red as she relied on her power, which was superior to Blake's, courtesy of her Semblance, to try to pressure Vegeta, but failed. "It's only been a month!"

There was no way in hell she was going to be able to replicate something complex like that in the middle of combat!

"Then how can Weiss do it?" Vegeta opened his eyes and held Yang's flaming fist before moving his head to the side and dodging a sneak attack from Blake. "If time were a factor, she shouldn't be able to do it either."

This remark made the girl in question smile with a certain pride at her achievement.

At the end of the day, Weiss had one advantage over the others that didn't include her Semblance: her meticulous control.

Her combat style and that of her sister were both extremely dependent on Aura, so efficient management of it was a must that had been refined to the limit through years of training.

Thanks to that, she was able to keep her Aura under control and use it in harmony with her Ki in a more natural way than the other girls, including Ruby.

"Besides that, there are your emotions," Vegeta continued as he let Yang go, bringing this training session to an end. "You've improved a lot over the last few months, especially after dealing with your personal problems."

Problems that had a name and could use magic.

Vegeta would never forget how uneasy he had felt while watching Yang fight her own mother and how close it had been.

In the end, even though she had only gained access to her Ki, Yang was able to win and subdue Raven.

"Even so, it's undeniable that your emotions still get the best of you." Vegeta would know, sometimes seeing a shadow of himself in this girl. "Especially when things don't go the way you want them to."

Again, something he could relate to and which still affected him to this day.

However, Vegeta had made progress over the years and calmed down... even if recent events had pushed him to the limit, and for good reason.

No one in their right mind would have remained calm when experiencing the same losses as he did.

"But I need anger to activate my Semblance," Yang tried to defend herself, even though she was already more than aware of this flaw. "I can't just give up on that power."

Not when she was already being left behind by her little sister.

That and Yang wanted to impress the man in front of her.

"I know." Vegeta wasn't blind and had already noticed this the first day they met. "My Super Saiyan transformation works the same way."

If anything, it used to be worse than this girl's Semblance, and it could be even worse if Broly served as an example.

"Really?" Yang raised an eyebrow, confused as she remembered the way Vegeta usually transformed, but there were also times when he didn't scream and made a show before turning blonde. "So how do you keep yourself under control?"

Even more so when he had so much power in his hands?

"By getting used to the transformation," Vegeta said, and then transformed without making even a strand of grass under his feet stir, reflecting the current state of his heart. "Considering that the growth of your power is almost stagnant, now seems to be the right time to start the next stage of your training."

The same one that would be implemented for the other girls... and perhaps begin Cinder's, who had been waiting patiently for months now.

Honestly, Vegeta hadn't expected her to put up with this for so long, especially considering her past.

Which explains why he even allowed her into his home.

Cinder grew up as a slave, being tortured just as Vegeta was at the hands of Freeza and Broly at the hands of Paragas. The difference, however, was that this girl managed to take revenge on her captors and gain freedom with her own hands.

Unfortunately, this cost her a heavy price: the life of the one who changed her life.

After that, her obsession with power led her to the door of Salem, a Wizard who controlled the darkness of this world and had been at war with Ozpin for some time now; the two were cursed with eternity.

Thanks to Cinder, Vegeta learned that it wasn't Lord Beerus and Shin who cursed this troublesome couple, but a completely different and unknown pair of gods.

Something that needed to be mentioned at the next meeting with the true deities of this universe.

As for Cinder, Vegeta couldn't bring himself to reject her after seeing her memories.

I really have grown softer over the years.

So Vegeta did what needed to be done to get someone similar off the wrong track and reached out to her, but not without trials and warnings.

To begin with, in a moment they had alone, Vegeta used Forced Spirit Fission to remove the stolen magic from this girl's body, along with darkness in the form of a beetle.

It wasn't a pretty scene, where Cinder literally vomited black goo.

At least she was free of Salem's hold.

After that, Vegeta made Cinder continue helping with rescue operations, exterminating Grimm, and imprisoning criminals.

A way for her to redeem herself for her past crimes, even if it was involuntary.

Finally, Vegeta entrusted this lost girl with the household chores, putting her back in the position she was once in as a slave, but without a shock collar or restraints made of darkness inside her body.

Cinder could leave at any time if she so desired.

If she chose to stay, she had to follow his rules, which included not threatening the lives of the other girls.

Otherwise, Vegeta would erase her from existence in body and soul.

His sympathy only went so far.

This was his way of testing her, to see if Cinder was really willing to turn over a new leaf.

Considering that she had nowhere else to go, either because of her crimes or treason against Salem, her answer could only be one.

Cinder accepted all his terms and enthusiastically went beyond, trying to get into his pants to please him.

As if I hadn't had enough trouble with Yang. Vegeta was also being tested by the dangerous advances of these two girls. It could be worse.

At least Blake had given up on him, and there wasn't another woman in this world bothering him.

That aside, and given Cinder's patience over the last few months, it was time to give her something that would keep her occupied and away from his room at night.

"Just as my Super Saiyan transformation has levels of mastery, the same can be applied to the advanced state you have obtained, with or without your Semblances," Vegeta began to explain where the next stage of training would go. "How? By keeping that advanced state active at all times, until it becomes second nature to you."

Just as he had done with each of his transformations, he was in the process of his new Semblance.

Yang and Blake opened their mouths to rebut the absurdity behind this training method, but held back.

At the end of the day, they couldn't argue against this man's logic and the result being presented before them.

"Okay," Yang nodded and took a deep breath as she focused on her power. "I'll try."

It wasn't as if she had anything to lose, and who knows, if she succeeded in mastering her "Advanced State," which was the result of using Ki and Aura at the same time, maybe Vegeta would finally unlock her hidden potential!

Just thinking about it made her all excited!

Blake didn't say anything and just followed her partner in this new stage of their training, aiming for the next level to close the gap between her and her teammates at the top...to be able to catch up with Weiss.

"Good." Vegeta was satisfied with their response and turned to Cinder, who was biting herself with frustration at being unable to do more than watch other people get what she wanted the most. "Go put on some proper training clothes."

It took her a moment to understand what had just been said, and it was like watching a cloudy sky light up with a bright sun.

Cinder had never shown such a happy expression in her life, and she didn't waste a second before running into the house!

Finally!

After months of putting up with this shit and playing hero, afraid of being kicked out, imprisoned, or killed by Salem, she would finally get her hands on real power!

"As for you." Vegeta smiled as he focused on Weiss and extended a hand towards her, calling out in challenge. "Time to show me your progress."

In a more crude and direct way, just like Saiyans did.

Weiss put aside her dissatisfaction with Cinder and returned her beloved's smile, soon releasing all her power to create a pillar of golden light.

Yang and Blake were forced out of their meditative states, almost knocked over by the more than familiar power of the strongest member of the team.

No matter how many times they saw this transformation, it never got old, and only admiration remained along with an inevitable dose of envy as Weiss' golden form was revealed in her beautiful, ethereal dress.

Once again, a goddess had descended upon Remnant and was ready to clash against someone equally divine in power.

"Man, being this beautiful should be illegal," Yang muttered, almost in a trance, her heart pounding harder as she imagined herself in her new best friend's shoes. "I can't wait for my Semblance to evolve."

Who knows? Maybe she was going to turn into a transcendental goddess too!

"Yeah," Blake nodded slowly, her expression almost solemn at how proud Vegeta looked of his student/lover. I never stood a chance.

In fact, not one of them, including Yang and Cinder, could compete with someone as blessed as Weiss.

That's so unfair.

Inevitably, that ugly side of her heart was there to remind Blake of the hatred she used to have towards the Schnee family.

This time, however, that resentment was motivated by something completely different and focused on just one person.

Blake was suffering from an inferiority complex towards Weiss.

How could she not feel that way when this girl was hundreds of times more powerful, more beautiful, and had one of the most incredible men in the universe as her lover?

Even Yang had turned her back on Blake to follow Weiss as her best friend.

Seeing this girl collide with Vegeta in the skies above at speeds she could only dream of reaching made that stain on her heart grow into something even worse, her power stirring in response.

"Better get back to training if we don't want to be left behind...even more," Yang half-joked, trying not to let the difference between her and Weiss discourage her. "Right, Blake?"

The girl in question didn't answer; she just sat on the floor and closed her eyes in meditation.

Yang wasn't sure, but she could have sworn she saw the white part of Blake's eyes turn black for a second.

I must be imagining things.

All this training was starting to mess with her head.

So, without further ado or focusing on the distractions that kept colliding above, Yang followed her partner's example and resumed her training.

Time to go to the next level!
