Chapter 1 - Information

Base Stats

ExP – Execution Points

ExP is a measure of how many enemies you have eliminated. The amount of ExP you gain per kill is not fixed—it depends on several factors:

How you kill – The method of execution matters. A swift and efficient kill may grant less ExP than a brutal or drawn-out one.

Who you kill – The strength, status, and significance of your target influence the ExP gained. Eliminating a weak, unarmed opponent yields far less than defeating a powerful adversary.

Battle difficulty – The more challenging the fight, the higher the potential reward. If you struggle but manage to win, your ExP gain is greater than if you easily overwhelm your enemy.

Your own strength – If you're significantly stronger than your target, you may earn less ExP for the kill. Conversely, taking down an enemy stronger than yourself grants a greater reward.

Morality & Cruelty – The more ruthless and emotionless you become, the more ExP you may gain, as your willingness to kill in brutal ways increases.

TrL – Threat Level

Threat Level is a psychological and emotional measure rather than a physical stat. It represents how far you have strayed from morality and humanity.

ExP Thresholds – TrL increases when you reach certain amounts of ExP, meaning the more you kill, the higher your Threat Level rises.

Psychological Decay – Unlike other stats, TrL does not make you physically stronger. Instead, it reflects your growing cruelty, detachment, and lack of empathy.

Increased Brutality – As TrL rises, you may unlock more efficient or gruesome methods of killing, which in turn allow you to gain more ExP.

Fear Factor – The higher your TrL, the more feared you become. This can make enemies hesitate or flee but may also attract more powerful opponents looking to eliminate you before you become unstoppable.

VL – Virus Level

VL represents your level of corruption due to a digital virus infecting your system.

A Contingency Warning – The virus exists as an anomaly, a glitch that spreads over time. Your VL determines how infected or corrupted you are.

Direct & Indirect Effects – VL affects your gameplay in multiple ways:

Alters your ExP gain, sometimes increasing it unpredictably.

Further influences your TrL, pushing you deeper into an inhuman state.

May cause malfunctions in your abilities, gear, or perception of reality.

Higher VL can grant unique advantages but also carries dangerous side effects.

No Escape – Once infected, there is no known cure—only methods to delay the spread.

Core Stats

TcL – Technology Level

TcL determines the advancement of your gear and, more importantly, your core system. It is divided into two key aspects:

Gear Level – The overall level of all your equipment, weapons, and armor.

Core Level – The sophistication and efficiency of your digital core, which powers all your abilities.

Higher TcL = More Power – Increasing your TcL enhances multiple stats:

HP (Health Points) – Your body can endure more damage.

EnP (Energy Points) – Your energy reserves expand.

SP (Strength Points) – Your physical power increases.

AP (Armor Points) – Your armor becomes stronger and more resilient.

HP – Health Points

The simplest yet most vital stat, HP represents your life force—the amount of damage you can take before dying or being rendered unconscious.

Not Just Durability – HP also determines your capability to wield high-level technology. The stronger your body, the better it can handle advanced upgrades and energy output.

Zero HP = Death or Forced Logout – Once depleted, your digital avatar is either terminated permanently or ejected from the system (if such a failsafe exists).

SP – Strength Points

SP measures your physical strength and how much force you can exert.

How to Increase SP:

Training and combat experience.

Other methods—potentially involving virus corruption or experimental augmentations.

Equipping high-level gear that boosts your natural strength.

Strength & Endurance Connection – The stronger you are, the more HP you can sustain. A powerful body is naturally more resilient to damage.

AP – Armor Points

AP determines the effectiveness of your armor and shields in battle.

Higher AP = Less Damage Taken – If an incoming attack is weaker than your AP, your shield may:

Absorb the damage completely.

Reflect the attack back at the enemy.

Convert the energy into fuel for your core.

The Tank Factor – A high AP build allows for more aggressive playstyles with minimal risk of injury.

EnP – Energy Points

EnP governs your core's energy reserves, essential for sustaining combat efficiency.

Energy is Everything – Your core powers:

Shields

Weapons (ammo production, shooting, etc.)

Enhancements & upgrades to gear

Special abilities

No Energy = Vulnerability – If EnP is depleted, you lose access to most of your combat abilities:

Shields fail.

Weapons become useless (except for any remaining physical ammunition).

You become an easy target for enemies.

Story

The origins of this digital world trace back to the first major digital entertainment revolution. A small team of indie developers envisioned something beyond traditional virtual reality:

"What if we don't just create a game? What if we build an entirely new world—a fully immersive digital existence?"

Thus, their ambitious project was born: a futuristic simulation where people could live entirely new lives, free from the constraints of the physical world.

The Setup: Entering the Digital World

To access this virtual realm, players required two key devices:

A Digital Scanner Platform – This scanned the person's entire body, externally and internally.

Advanced VR Glasses – These provided visual immersion but also performed a deeper function—penetrating the brain to scan neural activity.

The process worked as follows:

The scanner mapped the person's physical body, ensuring precise digitization.

The VR glasses read the mind, interpreting thoughts, preferences, and subconscious tendencies.

The system induced a coma-like state, mimicking death to extract and transfer consciousness into the digital world.

Once scanned, a digital replica was created—a cybernetic version of the player, customized to their preferred aesthetic.

Personalization & Style

The game's system didn't just copy a person—it refined them. The avatar was tailored to the user's subconscious preferences and desires.

Style Adaptation – The player's clothing and appearance reflected their tastes.

Detail Personalization – Small touches were added based on personal likes (e.g., jewelry details if the user had an affinity for it).

Freedom of Expression – Anything was possible, from sleek cybernetic enhancements to extravagant fashion choices.

However, what was meant to be a simple escape into a digital utopia soon became something far more dangerous. A virus, an unknown anomaly, began spreading. It corrupted the system, twisted the rules, and turned this world into something far darker than anyone had anticipated.

And now, survival is the only objective.
