Ever since he had been told what had happened, Caliste was confused every time he landed his eyes on the sword. He had not touched it since he learned of what happened. He even talked with Liana about it, and she seemed to be saying that the sword was a way for the heavens to take control of his mind.

Caliste wasn't sure what to think.

All he knew was that from the glimpses of the memories he received from the moment he held the sword, he had never felt so powerful… ever. Even in his past life, he had never achieved this strength; he felt as if nothing could hurt him.

'Maybe the heavens aren't happy with my actions?' Caliste wasn't sure what was happening, and he had no way of finding out.

That's why, right now, he was keeping the sword safe inside a thick cloth, making sure that his hand would not even come into contact with it.

There was a slight envy of grabbing it from his hands, but he managed to calm himself down from doing so.
