"Tempted?" Sylas questioned.
There was an enticing glint in those steely-blue eyes— seductive and dangerous— resembling a devil whispering temptations. It stood as a stark contrast to his usual gentle and calm demeanor, catching her off guard.
Violet's eyes traced down to his lips.
More than his blood, she wanted something else.

"I know I am impatient about my wolf back, but that doesn't mean you owe me anything, Alpha. Also, I understand there are reasons because you kept me alive even when there was no need to," Violet sincerely replied. Her words showed her trust in Sylas.
