Third Person POV
No matter how loud or energetic a person is in their day-to-day life, they all still need some time to rest, to think, to reflect and be by themselves.
It was one such night for Cherry.
She had joined college with no plans; she didn't know what she wanted to become, she was here just so she could get some more time before she got thrown into the real-adult world.
Job.
Income.
Stability and Family.
She did not mean to get entangled with someone as dangerous as Marco Romano; she was trying to reverse and detangle herself from this mess.
But the more time she spent in the room all by herself, her heart grew uneasy.
Cherry didn't understand what she felt for Marco, but she wanted to go to the party, see if he took in someone else as his partner or was he there just by himself?
Both situations brought a pang of ache in her heart. Getting up from the bed, she opened her windows and let some air in before she suffocated and died.
