**

The entire void shattered inch by inch, dissolving into endless black nothingness.

"Not bad."

The burly man, dressed in a simple leather tunic, suddenly brightened, eyes glinting with excitement — the kind of fervor a hunter shows when spotting worthy prey. His five fingers clenched into a fist once more, and with a grin, he roared, "Take another punch from me!"

As his fist blasted out, the newly healed space rippled with strange distortions. Those spatial ripples carried his terrifying power directly forward — almost instantaneously, the force seemed to teleport straight in front of Wei Yang.

Facing such a mighty, crushing punch, Wei Yang did not retreat. He clenched his fist and struck out hard.

Boom!

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

The mended space shattered once again, inch by inch. Invisible shockwaves rolled outward like waves, carrying devastating force.

Thud, thud, thud!

Wei Yang and the burly man each stepped back three times, every step cracking the air beneath their feet into dark, jagged footprints.

"They say the Ancient Void Dragon Clan are born with the ability to freely traverse the void. Their control over spatial power truly lives up to its reputation! Compared to Zi Yan's half-baked level, this leagues stronger."

Wei Yang steadied himself, lifted his gaze, and praised sincerely.

"???" Zi Yan blinked, utterly speechless.

"You're not bad yourself," the burly man grinned, showing sharp white teeth. "Among humans, your physical strength is truly exceptional."

"You've hit me twice. My turn!"

Wei Yang shook his right arm, which had gone slightly numb. He then stomped down hard — the space beneath him shattered, and in a flash, his figure appeared right in front of the burly man, fist surging forward.

"Come then! You think I'm afraid?!" the burly man bellowed and met the punch head-on.

Fist met fist — raw power colliding without the slightest restraint. Then—

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The two began to brawl like madmen — pure, brutal hand-to-hand combat. The entire void boiled violently. Before two beings whose physical strength defied reason, space itself was pitifully fragile.

Every strike, every kick, tore through it like paper. But gradually, something felt off. Rubbing his eyes, Xiao Yan muttered softly, "Hey… have you guys noticed? Brother Wei seems to be… winning?"

Ah Da and the others exchanged glances and nodded silently.

Zi Yan, meanwhile, covered her face with her small hand. They could all see it clearly now — what had begun as a contest of equals was slowly turning one-sided. The one gaining the upper hand… was Wei Yang.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Each impact sounded like muffled thunder across the skies, rippling through the air like waves. Wei Yang's figure flickered like a phantom, leaving afterimages as he weaved around the burly man, punching and kicking relentlessly.

Every single blow carried terrifying, pure physical power — raw, untamed, and violent. In front of that kind of strength, space was thinner than paper — easily torn, shattered apart.

Roar!

The burly man let out a furious roar, taking a brutal kick to the neck head-on. In return, his fist, as large as a cooking pot, slammed hard into Wei Yang's chest.

Boom!

The two finally separated, both sent flying and tumbling through the air. The ravaged void at last caught a brief respite, slowly healing.

In the distance—

Wei Yang rose to his feet, rubbing his chest and letting out a sharp hiss of air. That punch was heavy. He had almost lost his breath from it.

On the other side, the burly man also climbed to his feet, one huge hand rubbing at his swollen neck, grinning through clenched teeth.

The spot where Wei Yang had kicked him was clearly swollen like a lump — his face was covered in bruises, streaked with blood. His left eye was blackened and puffed up so much it had become a slit, like he'd been stung by a bee.

"Hiss…"

The burly man sucked in a breath, muttering in disbelief, "What kind of monster is this guy…? His physical strength's actually stronger than mine!"

He was an Ancient Void Dragon. A fully grown, adult Ancient Void Dragon. Known across the continent for their terrifying physical strength, yet today—he, an Ancient Void Dragon, had actually been beaten up by a human.

To think, his true body stretched over a thousand zhang long, towering and majestic beyond imagination. While Wei Yang, that tiny human, didn't even compare to one of his toes in size. Yet, such a small body somehow held strength even greater than his own.

That just didn't make sense. However—

"Haha! That was exhilarating!" the burly man grinned broadly. But deep down, he was impressed.

After all, someone who dared to fight an Ancient Void Dragon head-on with pure fists—there were hardly any like that in the entire continent. On the other side, Wei Yang stretched lazily, his bones crackling and popping all over. He exhaled a long breath.

"As expected of the Ancient Void Dragon Clan. I've never had such a satisfying fight before," Wei Yang said with a laugh.

This kind of raw, physical, fist-to-flesh battle—it was truly exhilarating. After the brawl, his entire body felt loose and invigorated, as if he'd just gotten a full-body massage.

"My name's Hei Qing," the burly man said.

"Hei Qing, want to go another round?" Wei Yang nodded, asking with a grin.

"Uh… let's call it a day for now. Next time—we'll go again," Hei Qing said, pulling the corner of his mouth into a wry smile and waving his hand.

"Next time?" Wei Yang smiled faintly and nodded. "Alright then."

Next time, you probably won't even have the qualifications to fight me anymore. Wei Yang thought to himself with a trace of regret.

"Brother Wei, you're something else," Xiao Yan said with open admiration, giving him a thumbs-up.

To be able to go head-to-head with a fully grown Ancient Void Dragon purely through physical power—honestly, that was insane!

That kind of absolute strength left him both awed and envious. Don't think that physical strength is inferior to Dou Qi. In truth, it's quite the opposite. The role of pure physical strength in battle was extremely significant.

There's a saying: One force can break ten thousand techniques. Before absolute power, all tricks and skills were nothing but show. Everything—could be crushed by sheer strength. Moreover, strength and defense went hand in hand.

When one's strength reached a certain level, their defense would naturally be formidable as well. After all, a body capable of withstanding that kind of explosive power—how could it possibly be weak?

Xiao Yan's physical strength wasn't exactly poor—after all, he'd absorbed several different Heavenly Flames before. But compared to Wei Yang, who was practically a non-human monster, he was nowhere close.

At this time, Hei Qing strode forward. His gaze landed on Zi Yan as he smiled and said, "Little girl, had enough fun outside yet?"

"Not yet," Zi Yan replied guiltily, her eyes darting around.

Hei Qing's eyes widened. "Not yet, huh?" he barked.

Zi Yan glared back. "Why are you yelling? Be careful, or I'll tell on you when we get back!"

"You—" Hearing the words tell on you, Hei Qing froze and was left speechless. His face twisted with frustration—clearly, this wasn't the first time he'd suffered under her hand. The two dragons stared each other down, wide-eyed. Then—

Hei Qing sighed helplessly, scratching his head before chuckling dryly. "Fine, fine. A few more days then."

"Hehe." Zi Yan grinned widely, then snorted softly. "Then I won't tell on you."

Hei Qing gave a bitter laugh. There really was nothing he could do with this little ancestor. Couldn't hit her, couldn't scold her.

"This is Hei Qing—he's from my Ancient Void Dragon Clan," Zi Yan said, introducing him to everyone. Then she turned to Hei Qing. "They're all my friends."

Wei Yang and Ah Da gave small nods in greeting.

"Xiao Yan, Qing Lin, we greet Senior Hei Qing," the two said with respectful cupped-fist salutes.

Although this man called Hei Qing didn't look particularly old, he was undoubtedly a truly ancient monster who'd lived for countless years.

Because of strength and status, Wei Yang and Ah Da could speak to him as equals. But Xiao Yan and Qing Lin naturally had to show respect.
