One hour passed but still Julian couldn't able to find anything good, also he ordered that half moon dish so that waiters don't think that he was just some random nobody occupying the seat and ordering nothing, he also checked the menu when no customers are appearing on medical store , and saw the names he hadn't heard it before. All in all he is feeling very irritated but he could do nothing but watch.
A total of five customers have bought the medicine from the store and he didn't find anyone suspicious yet, and there's still one half moon dish left in his plate, he looked at the dish and thought the last one left , ..
He grabbed the last half moon while turning his head towards the store, and then a white car stopped near the medicine store and a person walked out from the driver seat. The person is male, looks around 45 or more, wearing blue colored formal clothes. Julian noticed that the man has zero hair in the center side of his head, probably from a lot of stress from work, Julian thought, the side of his also showing signs of falling out. The man turned head slightly, taking a quick glance across the road to check something.
Isn't that.. But that was enough for Julian, in just that instant Julian scanned that man's whole face, his skin color is brown chicks swallowed inside, wearing black colored contact glasses, his beard shaved clean with only the small mustache hanging under his nose. Julian recognized that man, he hurriedly put the half moon in his mouth, took out his phone from his Jean's left pocket and opened the camera quickly and zoomed in towards the medical store , and observed patiently while chewing the food in his mouth.
The man casually walked up to the store and told something to the man standing at the counter, Baldy's partner walked inside slowly and came back in, under a minute and placed the small plastic bottle, orange in color around the size of the finger of an average person.
Thought so.. Julian muttered silently under his breath, the man took the orange plastic bottle and put it inside his blue blazer's pocket, and took out his purse from the back of his pant's pocket, counted the cash and gave it to Baldy's partner, and turned around slightly looking to his left side for a quick glance, walked -up to his car in normal pace, next the man opened the car's door and went inside and in just few seconds car started and he drove it off in straight line .
Julian recorded the whole play on his phone.
He placed the phone in the table gently and thought, "This could be something good", and stood up from his seat slowly, taking out the cash from his pocket, exhaling slightly he put the cash on the table, picked up his phone and opened the message app, texting Simon,
"Call me when you are up."
He thought calling would be better but remembering Simon's tired face , he set aside that thought, and walked towards the exit.
Paul took out the keys from his pant's pocket and opened the door of his apartment, pushing it normally inside, he walked in and released his hand from the door to shut itself, leaving his school shoes and socks behind in front of the door, walking towards the hall room he was thinking of taking the shower right now, because today was really a hot day , but just as he was about to turn , his mind clicked suddenly and he remembered something.
"I forgot to buy groceries on the way."
tch.. He clicked his tongue and thought he'd go after taking a shower, as he was crossing the hall to reach the bedroom to pick -up some clothes to change after taking the shower, he placed his bag back on the sofa then his eyes caught the sight of the balcony.
He saw the clothes hanging there, which he wore yesterday. It also looks almost dry.
"Someone was here" he thought but he also knew who it could be, so he set aside that thought quickly turning his head to right, towards the dining table, he saw two brown colored shopping bags, he slowly reached the dining table and checked the both bags.
Eggs, juice, chicken meats, vegetables and many other things, he left the bag as it is and walked towards the bedroom, thinking after taking the shower he'll put those things in the refrigerator, he also thought that it was more than enough for two weeks because he only eats self- made food two times a day and quantity of things in the bags are more than enough for him.
He slowly walked inside the bedroom, pushing the door behind close with his leg, and a sudden small and faint smile appeared on his lips.
As the darkness fell across the whole island, and small stars appeared above everyone to keep a close watch on every individual who was wondering outside under the dark sky, moon uncle also here too, looks almost same as yesterday, keeping his whole focus on Paul following left and right , as he was walking in Dryden alleys , going again to meet with Roxy .
He had already thought this through while he was eating an hour ago, if he should go or not. After eating his food and cleaning up the dishes, he finally made up his mind that this matter doesn't even need this much thinking, if they doubt him, then let them, he wasn't going to appear in front of them again after that, simple as it sounds. There's many other mofos he could find, if they didn't doubt him then what he wants will be a little more easy that's all.
And he again arrived in dark alleys of Dryden , while he was about a turn right for his destination, he thought that he had arrived earlier than yesterday, but it doesn't matter if they weren't there he could wait, as he took a turn and walked few steps, almost same image as yesterday appeared before his mind
Almost.. he thought, only a few numbers were missing.
His eyes caught the sight of three individuals. They are sitting close today, almost in ten normal steps. Paul could reach them. He recognized them quickly. They are the same guys he saw yesterday with Roxy but...
wait..where's Roxy at.. he tried looking besides those guys but he couldn't find where Roxy is , one of the three guys also noticed Paul, and he tapped the other one on a shoulder lightly, the third guy also noticed that and both turned their head slightly, towards Paul, taking a quick glance and turning their heads again, and started their chit -chat.
As Paul walked towards them one of the guy who noticed Paul's arrival first , sitting in the right side slowly stood -up, watching Paul slowly walking towards them with corner of his eyes, the second guy who sat in middle facing his back towards Paul, slightly pulled the pants of the guy who just stood -up, telling him to sit down but the other guy didn't listen, and stretched his hand slightly.
Paul only had taken three steps by then, and staggered slightly, not noticing the half broken bricks. His eyes noticed that guy who just stood up watching him with corner of his eyes, he started looking sideways avoiding any eye contact them and also feeling little nervous all of sudden, just as he completed his fifth step and about to take his sixth step, one of the guy sitting on left side also started to stood -up slowly, raising his both hands, and yawning~ lightly, Paul stopped his legs which is about take the sixth step, his eyes was looking at face of a guy who just stood up, next as the guy sitting on middle of them, like he sensed Paul's foot -stepped stopped, he turned his head slightly towards his back, towards Paul.
Paul looked at the eyes and face of three of them one by one, right -right -right, left -left -left, right -right -left, two guys standing, looking at Paul with the corner of their eyes, Paul clearly noticed that!!!, how could he not ? one guy in the middle, still sat on brick, his head slightly turned towards him, looking at him, him!!! all three of them...
I know those eyes...
He took a small step back slowly, and one more turning his body, ready to walk out of this damn place.
Straight or.. Left, maybe there are other guys already waiting for me.. He thought while looking towards the way he came from.
what about this then.. Maybe there should be someone to, but... It's better this way, both alleys have almost the same distance to reach the main streets. I could reach there in under a minute, from there, cross the streets, and walk straight until I found a cab or taxi.. Yeah…..
He took a turn towards the left alley, choosing the safest way possible, hurriedly taking his steps towards Alley.
Hey wait..!!!!
One of the guys shouted out behind him, but Paul didn't wait a bit, and submerged himself in the darkness.
The guy who was sitting earlier, stood up hurriedly and turned his head towards the alley where Paul went, and looked at the guy who stood up first with little frustrated eyes.
"What..?" The first guy spoke up when he wasn't able to endure the gaze.
"What— What?? Catch him quickly!!!" The guy in the middle said while looking to his left, and the other guy nodded, hurriedly saying "Yeahh.."
They hurriedly took their steps, almost sprinting, ready to catch Paul, and get whatever they wanted from him.
