Chapter 9 - Episode 9

"Future hubby, your little flower is here to meet you!" a childish voice echoed through the room.

Fiorell stopped in her tracks when she saw Calista sitting beside Leander.

"You maid, how dare you sit beside my future hubby?" Fiorell snapped.

"Who the hell are you calling a maid?" Calista chuckled, unbothered.

"How dare you talk to me like that?" Fiorell shrieked in anger.

"Shut up. Don't fight!" Leander shouted. Both girls immediately turned their eyes to him.

"And you, Fiorell—what are you doing here?" Leander asked, clearly annoyed.

"Hubby, that maid is talking rudely to me!" Fiorell clung to Leander's arm.

Leander pulled his arm free from her grip. "Don't call me hubby. I'm not your hubby. And don't touch me," he said firmly.

"Then who is she?" Fiorell asked, pouting.

"None of your business," Calista stood up from the chair and walked out of the room. Leander followed her.

Calista entered another room and began packing her stuff.

"Hubby, hubby… hubby my foot. Bitch," Calista muttered bitterly.

"Where are you going?" Leander asked from the doorway, leaning casually and smirking.

"None of your damn business. Go and spend your time with that clingy witch. Oh! Now she's your future wife?" Calista shoved past him. He smiled slightly.

Calista came downstairs.

"Hubby, I made coffee for you," Fiorell said sweetly, walking in from the kitchen with a cup in her hand.

Without a word, Calista snatched the cup from Fiorell's hand and left the house angrily.

In College, Corridor

Calista stormed down the corridor of the college, muttering to herself.

"That witch. Who the hell does she think she is?" she kicked the wall in frustration, just as she reached her classroom door.

"May I come in, sir?" she said sharply.

The professor, startled by her sudden entry, got nervous. "What kind of behavior is this, Miss Calista?"

Realizing her actions, she softened. "Sorry, sir."

"Principal's office. Right now!" the professor barked.

Calista lowered her head and walked toward the principal's office.

"May I come in, sir?"

"Come in. Your professor told me everything. What kind of manners are these?"

"I'm sorry, sir. It won't happen again."

"I'm telling Leander about this," the principal said and picked up the phone.

"No, wait—"

"You called me, Uncle?" Leander entered the office at that moment.

"Damn it. I'm so screwed," Calista mumbled under her breath.

"Hubby! Why did you bring me here?" Fiorell suddenly appeared from behind.

"Oh! That girl is here too?" Calista muttered again, rolling her eyes.

"Oh, Leander, you're already here," Principal smiled sweetly.

"What do you want to tell me, Uncle?" Leander turned to the principal, then looked at Calista with an intense glare.

Calista forced a nervous smile.
