Tianling's eyes glowed as her future sight activated.
She saw it clearly, Li Yao would appear behind her in exactly three seconds, sword aimed at her spine, while Xiang Yu would attack from the front with his signature void palm before instantly changing it to a sword strike at the last second. She smiled, simple enough.
Tianling spun around just as Li Yao was about to materialize, preparing to catch the incoming sword with her bare hand. At the same time, she extended her other arm backward to block Xiang Yu's strike.
But her hand grasped the empty void.
"Huh?"
Li Yao wasn't there.
Instead, the real attack came from directly above, both Li Yao and Xiang Yu diving down together, their weapons ready. Tianling's eyes widened in shock as she barely managed to dodge.
Li Yao created space where she had been standing and instantly froze it, Xiang Yu then followed up by smashing the frozen space with his void palm.
"What the hell?" she muttered in confusion.
