Chapter 486 - [486] Level Up, Level 7! (End of Volume)

"You update so frequently!"

Loki ran her hands over his smooth back a few times.

"Careful, or I'll tell Ais."

"I surrender!"

Loki immediately backed down.

Ais was currently in her most sensitive state. Anyone who dared get too close to Eiji would end up "dead on the spot" like this morning's cafeteria incident.

Pale blue light rippled outward as Loki unlocked the status values. The jester pattern soon appeared on Eiji's back, silently working its magic.

Before long, the update was complete.

"You've achieved another great feat!"

Loki examined Eiji's status carefully.

"After all, you defeated that evil dragon. You've accumulated enough excelia to reach Level 7 anytime!"

Less than ten days had passed since Eiji reached Level 6.

If this progress were made public, it would shock countless people!

Finn and the others had been stuck at this level for years without reaching their limits, yet Eiji, as a rising star, effortlessly surpassed them.

This time, it wasn't just strength—his level would overtake theirs, too!

Once Eiji became Level 7, he would instantly become the highest-level member of Loki Familia.

Previously, Loki Familia lacked a sufficiently powerful Level 7 to stand firm, making them slightly inferior to Freya Familia. But with Eiji at Level 7, Loki Familia would undoubtedly surpass Freya Familia, becoming Orario's truly unrivaled strongest familia!

Come to think of it, they owed it all to the corrupted spirit.

Without the numerous spirit clones, Revis, Filvis, and other opponents that "old friend" generously provided, Eiji couldn't have reached this point so quickly.

"There aren't any strong enough enemies left for you to level up now."

Loki crossed her arms, unable to contain her joy.

"But given your usual training pace, you should still reach the limit in a month or two!"

Loki wasn't wrong.

If Eiji spent the next month fighting hordes of Level 5 and Level 6 monsters in the Dungeon's 60th-floor range, he could probably level up within a month.

But Eiji didn't want to wait another month.

"Loki, I have an idea..."

...

"Eiji! Where the hell is Eiji!?"

The moment Eiji stepped out of Loki's room, a furious roar echoed through the halls.

Oh no!

Fearless as he was, a sudden dread gripped him now.

Before long.

The elven royalty came running over with a face full of fury.

"What have you done! What in the world have you done! My Ais! My innocent Ais, how dare you, you damnable...!"

Riveria's chest heaved violently, even cursing out loud in her anger.

It seemed they had been unfortunately spotted when returning.

Eiji was left speechless—his luck really was terrible.

"Look, Riveria, calm down..."

"How can I calm down! Could you not control yourself? Ais is only 16, and you're just 15! Whatever you're thinking is too early! Ais will be yours eventually anyway, couldn't you wait two or three years?!"

The usually composed elven royalty was now roaring loud enough to shake the entire Twilight Manor.

Who knew how dizzy she had felt the moment she learned Ais had been claimed by Eiji.

She had been confident the two would eventually come together—no man could resist someone as adorable as Ais taking the initiative. But in her mind, they should have dated for two or three years first, married after coming of age, and only then engaged in... those kinds of things.

Who could have guessed Eiji would skip all those steps in a single night, taking Ais in one go?

Like some kind of lecher—how had she never noticed before?

"Riveria, don't you want a grandchild as soon as possible?"

"I don't... Wait, did you say grandchild?"

Riveria suddenly froze.

Her mind naturally conjured an image of a baby, looking just like Ais, gazing up at her with bright eyes as she rocked it to sleep in her arms.

"You're tempted, aren't you?"

"Mm..."

The elven royalty wasn't good at lying and immediately faltered.

Raising Ais had been a point of pride for Riveria.

But it hadn't been without regrets.

Ais had already been seven when she joined the Familia, meaning Riveria had missed out on the experience of caring for her as an infant. Worse, Ais had been extremely rebellious back then, constantly trying to sneak into the Dungeon without a care for whether she could handle it, single-mindedly chasing strength while ignoring everyone's advice. She had been anything but obedient, giving Riveria endless headaches—a lingering regret.

Though the idea of a century-old virgin elf having a grandchild sounded like something out of a bizarre tale, she couldn't help but feel tempted.

"I'll do my best!"

Eiji declared with utmost seriousness.

"Well... as soon as possible."

Riveria leaned in and whispered to him.

Her cheeks flushed with embarrassment, but her eyes sparkled with anticipation.

Eiji let out a sigh of relief.

Century-old grannies were the hardest to deal with!

...

"Hey, brat, that's enough!"

Freya Familia's base.

The cat-person Allen's temple throbbed with veins as he glared at the boy on the ground, his killing intent undisguised—he looked ready to murder him on the spot.

"I should remind you, your entire Familia together might not be a match for me right now!"

Eiji crouched on the ground, his expression cool and aloof.

"...What's there to brag about? You're just Level 6!"

Allen grumbled resentfully.

But Eiji was probably right, and that pissed him off!

"Oh? You didn't know?"

Eiji chuckled lightly, picking up a bottle from the ground and tossing it into a bag.

"I already leveled up to Level 7 last night. The Guild knows now, and within a day, the whole of Orario will be in an uproar!"

"Wha—?!"

Allen was stunned.

Not just him—even Ottar and the other onlookers couldn't help but feel disheartened.

There was no way around it.

Lady Freya would undoubtedly be utterly captivated by him.

That's right.

Eiji had completed his level-up the previous night.

After moving nearly half of the mountain-like pile of potions, Eiji strode away under the "cheerful send-off" of the Freya Familia members.
