Chapter 932 - Chapter 932

Chapter 932: The Sinner Who Invaded Camelot

In the distance along the horizon, a massive city stood as if it had existed since ancient times.

Its grayish-white outer walls were uneven and mottled, bearing the marks of time everywhere. Yet, astonishingly, the colossal outer fortifications showed no signs of damage, as if this eternal essence could extend infinitely into the future.

"Who is that?"

The gate guards stared toward the distant grasslands, exchanging puzzled glances with their companions.

Just a few dozen meters away, a figure cloaked in a hooded mantle was steadily approaching the city's main gate.

His form was indistinct, and his race was impossible to determine.

No matter how one looked at it, he appeared thoroughly suspicious.

"Halt! This is the royal capital, Camelot! None may enter without the Queen's explicit permission. Remove your disguise!"

The soldier bared his fangs, his appearance fierce and menacing.

Though he possessed human-like limbs and facial features, he resembled a wolf in human form more than an actual person.

An aura of power far surpassing that of ordinary humans emanated from him, while his savage eyes and protruding jawbone gave him an exceptionally ferocious presence.

Seemingly startled by this, the cloaked figure stopped before the main gate.

The soldier smirked coldly—a proud smile born of confidence in his own strength. The might of the Fang Clan was known throughout the Fairy Kingdom!

"None shall pass... but the innocent..."

The cloaked figure raised his head.

He revealed a pair of pitch-black pupils, deep as abysses, that somehow evoked an irresistible urge to lose oneself in them.

"This guy... is he human?"

The Fang Clan soldier felt a slight stir in his heart.

The aura surrounding him differed greatly from that of fairies; it carried the same alluring scent as a human!

"But what is he saying?"

Following the figure's gaze, the Fang Clan soldier looked back at the city gate behind him.

At the top of the gate, a string of characters was inscribed in peculiar symbols. However, no one in the current Fairy Kingdom could read them, and even the most valiant and skilled Fang Clan warriors were no exception.

Thanks to the language buff that came with his transmigration, Eiji understood the inscription at a glance.

It was a rule written in Old English: "None shall pass but the innocent."

Originally, these should have been sacred and pure words—yet someone had drawn a thick line across them, negating the rule in the most direct manner, as if mocking its very essence.

"What are you muttering about? Hurry up and take off your disguise—"

The Fang Clan soldier glared impatiently.

Someone who hid their face like this was clearly not a noble high-ranking fairy!

Every year, the royal capital Camelot—accessible only to high-ranking fairies—attracted countless lower-ranking fairies on pilgrimages. The sight of those ignorant country bumpkins never failed to bore him to the core.

Before he could finish his sentence, he saw the figure opposite him draw a blade.

It was a pitch-black two-handed greatsword, clearly a heavy weapon that ordinary people would struggle to wield.

"A steel weapon?"

The Fang Clan soldier's eyes sharpened instantly, his expression turning dangerously hostile.

"So it's a fool trying to force their way in. Such weapons might work on ordinary fairies, but against us proud Fang Clan warriors—Ugh?!"

A blinding golden light smothered his face.

Then, in shock and fury, he lost consciousness.

"BOOM—!"

The massive city gate shattered in response!

The deafening roar echoed across a radius of several kilometers, startling countless fairies residing within.

"What happened?"

"Sounds like the city gate was destroyed?"

"What? Which clan is guarding the city today? Could it be those incompetents from the Earth Clan?"

"We should impeach them before the Queen! It's time to cut their funding!"

Chaos instantly erupted throughout half of Camelot, filled with a cacophony of noise, curses, and accusations dominating the uproar.

But there was no fear—not a single fairy screamed in terror.

"This is Camelot, protected by the Fairy Knights! Anyone who dares offend Her Majesty's dignity will soon be burned to ashes or torn limb from limb!"

"Hurry up! Don't let the criminal escape! And try not to alert the Fairy Knights, or some fools will think our Fang Clan is useless!"

The guard captain roared his commands, his shouts driving the Fang soldiers forward like a swarm of hornets charging toward the gate.

The captain even led the charge himself, baring his wolf-like fangs and claws as he glared fiercely at the gateway.

But he saw no sign of the invading culprit.

All that met his eyes was a terrifying gust of wind!

The intruder moved as swift as the wind—even with fairy reflexes, the captain couldn't lock onto his form. The blazing, aggressive footsteps left him dizzy.

"Slice!"

In a blur, the captain felt a sweet taste in his throat.

He hadn't even seen when his opponent drew his sword. Staring wide-eyed at the retreating figure, he thudded to the ground.

Eiji cut down every werewolf blocking his path, one stroke per enemy.

Before his blade, every reaction was equally sudden and predictable.

He paid no mind to the soldiers swarming fearlessly toward him. His goal was clear: charge straight for the city center!

Silently, every obstacle in his way fell dead.

The Fang soldiers couldn't halt his advance—not even for a second—before collapsing in pools of blood.

"From the main gate to the city center, roughly five kilometers by sight."

Eiji's heart remained calm as still water, ignoring all the fairies along the roadside.

At full sprint, he could cross this short, narrow road in just over ten seconds!

"Halt!"

A tall, burly figure appeared directly ahead on the main road, swinging a massive silver greatsword with imposing momentum!

The sword strike was awe-inspiring, howling winds accompanying the raging sword aura like a tempest.

Eiji's eyes narrowed.

A swordsman worth noting!

Meeting the opponent's powerfully descending silver greatsword, Eiji countered with an upward sweep of his own blade!

"CLANG—!"

The piercing shriek was enough to rupture eardrums, the reverberations screeching like a flock of birds.

"Incredible strength!"

Eiji praised aloud. He hadn't retreated a single step—only the ground beneath his feet cracked like a spiderweb.

The silver-armored figure opposite staggered back three steps with heavy thuds, each footstep shattering the stone pavement and leaving three shallow pits nearly a foot deep!

"You actually overpowered me in strength? But you're clearly human?"

She steadied herself, her face filled with shock.

The woman stood nearly half a head taller than Eiji, with striking golden hair and blue eyes, yet her body was layered with muscles and astonishingly robust, likely weighing over a hundred kilograms.

Judging by the silver heavy armor she wore, she was likely one of the knights guarding the royal capital, Camelot.
