Chapter 1268: The Great Upheaval Sweeping the World

"Eiji, what are you doing here?"

"Mrs. Pendragon, I've missed you so much!"

Eiji immediately embraced her, excitedly getting a bit handsy.

Mrs. Pendragon was clearly flustered.

Her emotions had been complicated these past few days.

She'd suddenly been confessed to by her daughter's possible boyfriend, while her sister who just arrived from Britain also seemed unusually interested in this same young man. Her daughters appeared to be collectively hiding something from her too, leaving the entire household in complete chaos.

Seeing Eiji made her feelings even more tangled, and before she knew it, he had already succeeded in his advances.

Press the advantage!

Seeing that White Saber showed no intention of pushing him away, Eiji steeled his heart, firmly cupped her face, and planted a kiss on her lips.

White Saber's eyes widened instantly.

But she didn't refuse!

Eiji breathed a sigh of relief, his confidence immediately swelling.

The months of interaction hadn't been for nothing - with his deliberate intimate advances and the advantage of his handsome face, it was impossible for Mrs. Pendragon not to have felt something!

Keep pressing forward, keep pressing forward!

...

That entire day, Eiji split himself into three.

One version of himself went on a date with Arcueid, another stayed home to keep Morgan company while teaching Souji swordsmanship, and the final one went to Artoria's house to secretly rendezvous with Mrs. Pendragon.

If any of these were exposed, especially the situations with Arcueid and Morgan, it could potentially lead to Kojiko City being wiped off the map.

The thrill was incredible!

Because of Morgan's phantom clones, Eiji didn't dare to be too obvious. Combined with Mrs. Pendragon's own hesitation, things only progressed to first base.

But the fact that Mrs. Pendragon didn't refuse him was clearly good news - there was definite potential to reach second base and even home run later!

He just hoped he could win her over before she regained her memories, otherwise the difficulty would increase exponentially.

Evening.

"I'm not going back tonight!"

Arcueid, whose mood had slightly improved after a whole day of dating, sat on Eiji's sofa and declared war against Morgan.

"Unless this woman leaves, I absolutely won't go anywhere!"

She pointed at Morgan, her face filled with the hostility of looking at a class enemy.

"My, my, what should we do?"

Minamoto no Raikou covered her face with her hands.

She was already grinning from ear to ear.

It looked like she'd be holding a grandchild soon!

"Mother, I believe there's still an empty room in the house, right?"

Morgan asked Raikou with complete composure.

"How can you call her 'mother' so naturally?"

Arcueid looked at her in shock.

"Ara, I'm this family's daughter-in-law, why wouldn't I call her that?"

Morgan looked down on Arcueid with the attitude of a victor.

"But, aren't you already thousands of years old? Don't you find that strange?"

Arcueid looked completely bewildered.

Minamoto no Raikou was a figure from around 1000 AD.

While Arcueid was born around 1200 AD.

Age-wise, it was natural for Arcueid to call Raikou mother.

But Morgan was born around 4000 BC - she was already over six thousand years old!

Crunch!

Morgan gritted her teeth fiercely, her expression turning vicious.

With a single motion, a jet-black spear-shaped staff materialized in her hand.

"Perfect. You won't be staying here tonight—you can go straight to hell!"

Morgan glared at Arcueid with murderous intent.

"I doubt hell would dare take me!"

Arcueid rose from the sofa in one fluid motion, radiating defiance.

"Sigh."

Eiji waved a hand wearily.

A haze of ash-gray mist enveloped both women.

Almost immediately, violent concussive booms erupted from within the fog.

"Wow, the sisters-in-law are fighting again?"

Okita Souji emerged from the bathroom, wiping sweat from her hair while muttering in exasperation.

"Seriously, with these two being so fierce, how is Sister Artoria supposed to compete?"

In terms of pure power, Artoria was clearly outmatched by both Arcueid and Morgan.

Even without her throne, Morgan remained a divine-tier mage.

Arcueid went without saying—once she entered her Earth Princess form, she could wreak havoc anywhere on Earth except South America.

As for Artoria with her downgraded Excalibur and Rhongomyniad... well, she might stand a chance if Avalon were still in the picture.

Eiji felt utterly drained. He didn't want to speak.

With Arcueid and Morgan clashing every other day, he was growing numb to it.

"Emergency! Catastrophe!"

Suddenly, ethereal pink petals drifted through the air.

"Eiji, get to Type-Moon Academy! Now, immediately, right this—Oh? Your women are fighting? Damn, I missed the main event!"

"Merlin, get the hell out of here!"

Eiji snarled, slashing through the air with his blade.

The pink petals shattered into nothingness, the spell embedded within them severed in one strike. Merlin's voice cut off instantly.

"Morgan! Arcueid! Stop this! Merlin sent an alert—something big's happening. You can resume your fight later!"

Eiji thrust his head into the dream realm and shouted at them.

"An emergency?"

"Merlin's warning?"

Arcueid and Morgan halted in perfect unison.

"Next time!"

"Looking forward to it!"

They exchanged glances, sparks practically flying between them.

The ash-gray mist dissipated.

"Mom, Souji, we'll be back soon!"

"Safe travels~"

"Be careful~"

Minamoto no Raikou and Okita Souji waved lazily.

After all, when it came to Singularity-level crises, ordinary Heroic Spirits like them couldn't intervene.

The moment they finished speaking,

Morgan activated a spatial translocation spell, and the three vanished from the Minamoto residence.

Type-Moon Academy.

The school no longer lived up to its name.

With countless Heroic Spirit students awakening to their true selves, hardly any took their studies seriously. Rumor had it only saints like Jeanne d'Arc still attended classes dutifully.

Then again, in Jeanne's case, she was probably trying to compensate for her dismal academic record in her previous life.

"You're here! That was fast!"

Merlin greeted them with a cheerful smile as they appeared on the school's sports ground.

Standing beside him was Eiji's old acquaintance—Scáthach, the Queen of the Land of Shadows.

"What's the emergency? Is Merlin giving birth?"

Eiji asked them bluntly.

"Ahaha, you're casually asking rather unfriendly questions about me, aren't you?"

Merlin wiped the cold sweat from his forehead.

"I called you here for serious business, of course. Actually, we've also contacted Romulus and the other Grand Servants, but you two are the first to arrive."

Scáthach took the initiative to explain to Eiji.

With a wave of her hand, a series of images materialized in midair.

"Take a look. This is what's happening around the world right now."

Within the images, seas of fire raged.

Vast stretches of land were submerged in flames, with not a single patch of untouched earth to be found.

The entire world was undergoing an unimaginable catastrophe!
