Chapter 1289: Kama: Trash! Trash!
"Boom!" "Kaboom!" "Eeeek—!"
Koyanskaya's screams echoed endlessly.
Even after revealing her true form as BeastⅣ, she remained utterly helpless against the twelve familiars, subjected to relentless torment.
The one-sided abuse and heart-wrenching cries would move any listener to tears.
"Hehehe!"
Yet Eiji laughed with a vicious, perverse delight.
After absorbing Kishinami's Spirit Origin, his magical energy had multiplied exponentially, now rivaling that of a Beast. His familiars' power surged accordingly, frolicking with joyous abandon.
"Your Spirit Origin as a Beast isn't complete yet, right? And you didn't know this Singularity's cyberspace contains nutrients that could rapidly accumulate power for you, did you?"
"Such a thing exists?!"
Koyanskaya was consumed by regret.
Eiji reveled in her despair.
Koyanskaya—arriving a step too late, lagging behind in every aspect—could only become a victim of persecution!
As a Beast, none were more pathetic than her!
Though Kama was equally disgraceful, at least she was acknowledged as the strongest in group battles. Koyanskaya lacked any distinctive Beast traits, utterly unworthy of sharing the stage with the likes of Goetia, Tiamat, and Kishinami, each possessing their own twisted quirks!
"Hey, have you had enough fun? Hurry up and finish her off!"
Scáthach, with no battle to fight, grew increasingly impatient.
"Got it!"
Eiji snapped his fingers crisply.
The familiars erupted into frenzy, their assaults intensifying threefold. Lightning, ice, and relentless barrages pummeled Koyanskaya without respite, engulfing her completely.
When the onslaught subsided, only a blank Spirit Origin remained on the spot.
"She's probably the first Beast to die from her own stupidity!"
Eiji offered a pitying assessment.
An immature form, an incomplete Spirit Origin, previously severe injuries... her flaws were numerous!
Had she arrived at this Singularity earlier, even with an unfinished Beast Spirit Origin, she could have restored some power using the cyberspace's nutrients—never falling to such pitiful weakness!
The blank Spirit Origin in the air surged toward Eiji in a torrent.
"Hmm... mediocre."
Eiji carefully sensed it and curled his lip.
Compared to the gains from previously defeating Kishinami, this enhancement fell short by more than half.
The familiars, however, chirped like hungry nestlings, delighting in the flood of magical energy. Their power likely increased by thirty to fifty percent.
"With his current Spirit Origin, few on Earth can match him now, right?"
Merlin watched the insatiable Eiji with awe.
Scáthach nodded in agreement.
Having devoured one complete Beast and one half-finished Beast, atop his originally formidable Spirit Origin, his current power undoubtedly stood at the planet's forefront!
Third-class planetary tier? Second-class planetary tier? Or perhaps... first-class planetary tier?
"Who's next?"
Eiji approached the two, brimming with motivation.
"The other Beasts probably haven't realized we're hunting them yet. Let's press our advantage while we can!"
Hah!
What's the point of hunting those white-tier contestants?
It's obviously more efficient to target the top three tiers' candidates!
Killing one Beast is worth tens of thousands of Servants!
"Let me take the next one first!"
Scáthach volunteered eagerly, her fighting spirit blazing.
"I'm good with that!"
Eiji gave a thumbs-up.
"Then let's move out!"
Merlin opened his watch interface, isolating the Beasts from the top three tiers. A brief thought crossed his mind.
If possible, he'd really like to eliminate Goetia and Tiamat first!
Goetia was clearly scheming something with unknown motives.
Tiamat posed too great a threat to humanity and had been on the hunting list from the beginning.
However, both had actually lost their Beast Spirit Origins already.
Goetia's Beast Spirit Origin was shattered in the Temple of Time during the Doctor's self-destruction, while Tiamat's Beast Spirit Origin was destroyed back in Babylon.
The reason Tiamat remained a first-tier candidate now was likely because she had returned personally from the imaginary number space as the Babylonian myth's primordial goddess to compete!
Conceptual deities could only remain in the third tier.
Natural deities were limited to the second tier.
Only the primordial gods and supreme deities of various mythologies qualified for the first tier!
Primordial gods, Beasts, Magic Users... only beings of this caliber could rank in the first tier, and throughout Earth's 14,000-year history, there were only slightly over twenty in total.
As for Goetia...
Frankly, his schemes were somewhat incomprehensible to Merlin.
Though he couldn't decipher them, Merlin instinctively felt that Goetia was exceptionally dangerous!
"For now, we should proceed steadily. Hunt a few more Beasts to push Eiji's power to its limit before confronting Tiamat and Goetia!"
Merlin quickly settled on his strategy.
"In that case, let's pick this one next!"
He tapped on the interface.
The name of a certain white-haired bratty girl expanded, and her location was promptly marked on the map.
"Another relatively pathetic Beast! With our current lineup, we've got this in the bag!"
Merlin declared with absolute confidence.
Then.
"Hahaha! Eiji-kun, we're counting on you again!"
A swarm of white-haired bratty girls flooded from space, completely overwhelming Merlin.
Scáthach also found herself trapped by numerous bratty clones, unable to break free immediately.
"Hah, so what if you're Grand? You're all just small fry! Small fry! Small fry! Nothing but small fry!"
Kama stood with arms akimbo, laughing triumphantly.
Like Kishinami, she had received nourishment from the cyber world, not only restoring her to peak condition but also successfully metamorphosing into a complete Beast!
Plus, she possessed the invincible conceptual universe and billions of clones at minimum!
"Unlike back in Ooku, now I'm invincible!"
Kama was bursting with arrogance, her face filled with the satisfaction of being unbeatable.
"Are you all fucking useless or what?!"
Eiji stared at Merlin and Scáthach in utter disbelief.
"One volunteers to go first and immediately gets surrounded by clones, the other cheers from behind but still gets captured! What good are you to me?!"
"This is so annoying, I'd have been better off hunting alone!"
"Just dead weight!"
"I actually can't refute that...!"
Scáthach's face flushed red.
Who could have imagined this Beast would be so troublesome!
Its individual strength wasn't actually that formidable—she could handle it herself, even gaining the upper hand. But its clones were simply too numerous! Even if distributed to every human on Earth, there would still be leftovers, and each clone possessed the same strength as the original!
On this planet, no one could compete with Kama when it came to gang fights!
"Shouldn't you surrender about now?"
One of Kama's clones landed before Eiji, wearing the restrained expression of a victor.
"What can you possibly accomplish alone against my invincible self?"
"Then you probably don't know—"
Eiji sneered.
He materialized the Bling Blade, sheathed it again, and poured all his mental strength, physical energy, karmic power, and immense magical energy into this single strike in one breath!
"Invincibility has always been nothing but a debuff!"
