They sat at the dining table with their desserts, including ice cream.
"Do you want to give Alfred anything besides the brownies and cookies?" asked Danny.
"Does he have any plushies?" Asked Dani.
"Not one from you," said Danny.
Dani nods and dashes to her room to pick the perfect plush for Alfred.
"A soft blanket to keep the bad dreams at bay," said Dan.
"That's good, I think we could ask Nocturn for one," said Danny.
"Yeah, he has the comfiest blankets," agreed Dan.
Dan would deny it if someone asked if he loved his family. But that would be a lie; he cares and loves them. Any harm that could come to the would-be given back threefold. Dani soon returned to the room holding a bear in a butler costume.
"This is the one," said Dani, holding the toy over her head.
"Okay, now let's make up the basket. Dan, go ask Nocturn for a blanket."
Dan nodded and opened a portal. Danny watched as he left.
"So, anything else you want me to add to the basket?" asked Danny.
"Can we add letters, one from me and another from Dan?" asked Dani
"Of course, but sign with your full name as yours and Dan's nicknames are similar,"
Dan, Danny and Dani are similar and could sometimes get confusing.
"I could just change my nickname,"
"If you wish to, sweetheart, that's fine,"
"How about Ellie?"
"It's beautiful,"
Dani, well, now Ellie's full name is Danielle. (if anyone has forgotten)
"Now, do you want any coloured pens and paper?"
"Yes, please, can I use the glittery pens?"
"Yes, you can."
"Yeah,"
"Let me just go grab them, okay."
"Thanks, Mama,"
Danny left for ten minutes, and when he returned, he had a stack of coloured paper and a pencil case. He placed the stack on the kitchen table, cleared the empty bowls and put them in the sink. Then, he sat down at the Table with Ellie.
"So what are you going to write?"
"Well, I will introduce myself and tell him how happy I am to have another sibling."
"That's a good start,"
Then a green portal opened, and Dan walked through. Holding a fluffy gray blanket.
"Ah, Dan, you're back. How was your trip to Nocturn's haunt?" asked Danny.
"Pretty good Nocturn says that he'll keep an eye on Alfred for you when you cannot I think he has taken a liking to him,"
"How nice,"
"Now what are you guys doing," asked Dan looking at table.
"I'm writing a letter to Alfred," said Ellie excitedly.
"Your welcome to write one to Dan," said Danny
"Sure,"
"Great!" cheered Ellie.
