More Exposition
Osho blinked and immediately fell silent.
Everyone immediately noticed that it was a touchy subject, and tried to backtrack.
"H-Hey, you don't need to–"
"No, it's fine." Osho shook his head when he saw Ellie trying to take it back.
Hearing this, they relaxed a little, but it was clear that they didn't intend to rush him and allowed him to speak at his own pace.
He was silent for a while, as though chewing the words, but eventually, he spoke.
"Before you ask. No, Isaac isn't my surname. It's as much my first name as it is Osho." He said, and this piqued everyone's interest.
"Really? So... what is your surname?" Kurt asked tentatively.
"We'll get to that. But first..." He sighed. "The reason I distanced myself from the cult is that they failed to protect two people I care about." He said. The others were perplexed for a moment, but Ellie's eyes widened in realization.
"Your parents..." She muttered, and Osho nodded.
