Del woke up early, feeling happy and excited for another day. He lived in a small village surrounded by woods and a river. Del loved his village, but the villagers didn't always love him back but they didn't show it. They would often whisper and point at him, making Del feel sad.
Del got dressed and went downstairs to the kitchen, where his mom was cooking breakfast. His little sister, Lily, was sitting at the table, eating her porridge.
"Good morning, Mom! Good morning, Lily!" Del said, smiling.
His mom smiled back and handed him a bowl of porridge. "Good morning, Del. Eat quickly, you need to go hunting today."
Del ate his breakfast, grabbed his hunting bag, and headed out into the woods. He walked for hours, enjoying the peace and quiet, until he came across a small rabbit. Del aimed his bow and arrow, took a deep breath, and shot. The rabbit fell to the ground, and Del felt proud of himself.
As he was about to pick up the rabbit, Del saw something shiny on the ground. He walked over to investigate and found an old, mysterious-looking watch. Del picked it up, feeling a strange connection to it. He turned it over in his hand, studying it carefully.
On his way back home, Del encountered three teenagers from the village. They were standing by the river, laughing and joking. When they saw Del, they started mocking him.
"Hey, look at Del! He's so skinny even the rabbit just gave itself in so he can eat it, I bet he afraid of the wind" one of them said, laughing.
Del ignored them and kept walking. His dad had always taught him to forgive and forget.
When Del got home, he ate dinner quickly and excused himself to his room. He locked the door, took the watch out of his pocket, and examined it more closely.
The watch was old and rusty, but it looked expensive. Del wondered who it belonged to and how it ended up in the woods. He turned it over in his hand, feeling the strange connection again.
Suddenly, Del felt a chill run down his spine. He looked around his room, feeling like someone was watching him. But he was alone.
Del shook his head, telling himself he was just being silly. He put the watch on his bedside table and lay down, feeling excited and curious about his discovery.
