Chapter 220 - 220 - Size Does Matter

"Is this really a human from this world?" Kushina let out a slight sigh of relief when Kei took over the treatment.

The injuries were severe, so extreme that even the heart was gone, yet the person hadn't died immediately. Such tenacious vitality, while not as incredible as Tsunade's, was still far superior to that of most ninjas.

"No, when she crossed the dimensional gateway…" As Kei explained the woman's origins, he reached into his large black pouch and pulled out a White Zetsu corpse.

He swiftly implanted its heart into her and replaced several severely damaged internal organs.

Glancing at the near-dead White Zetsu that was about to turn into a tree, he figured he might as well make use of available materials. Without worrying about compatibility, he even gave the woman a new pair of legs.

He hadn't paid close attention before.

Now, as he treated her wounds, he took a moment to observe her clothing and the violent energy within her body. With that, he was able to roughly determine which low-tier world she had come from.

Claymore!

A world as brutal as the Tokyo Ghoul universe, if not worse!

In that world, where demons roamed freely, humans implanted demon flesh into their bodies to gain the power to slay these creatures. However, excessive use of that power would result in the user being consumed by demonic energy, transforming them into new demons.

Due to various reasons, male warriors were more prone to demonization. Thus, apart from the initial batch of experimental warriors, who had all succumbed to demonic transformation, the remaining Claymores, warriors specialized in demon-slaying, were exclusively female.

Although the world was full of fierce and cool swordswomen, Kei couldn't bring himself to like such a setting.

After scrutinizing the blonde woman's face for a moment, he gave up on identifying her.

Casually storing away the White Zetsu corpse that was about to turn into a tree, he activated his Yin-Yang Release technique over the woman's open abdomen.

Shattered and missing bones began to regenerate and fuse. Damaged flesh cells rapidly divided and healed.

He pulled out a long robe from his domain and draped it over her.

Even though most Claymores, due to their demon flesh and past experiences, had long lost human emotions, he still felt it was proper to show some respect.

"Couldn't you have found a slimmer White Zetsu? She's a girl, after all." Kushina sighed, rubbing her forehead in frustration as she stared at the White Zetsu's massive legs, which were even thicker than her Kei's thighs.

A perfectly fine blonde, blue-eyed beauty, standing at 1.8 meters tall… Yet these legs! Those enormous feet…! Sure, having legs was better than having none, but this might make it hard for her to go out in public.

"Don't worry. Her body's cells should be able to absorb and assimilate the White Zetsu's cells. Give it half a month, and things should return to normal."

Kei waved his hand dismissively. The only reason he even bothered to save her was that she had been caught up in the spatial fluctuations of his world-crossing. Also, he was curious about that world, was it worth visiting?

But… It didn't seem all that interesting after all. Although the fierce female swordswomen were indeed visually appealing…

Unless he urgently needed to farm some system rewards, such a medieval, demon-infested world didn't hold much appeal for someone who had long moved past the information age. Otherwise, he would've already pressed his hand against the blonde woman's forehead and—well, read her memories.

Besides… He still hadn't figured out what kind of world he was in now!

Avatar?

The creatures' appearances and this icy, snowy environment didn't seem to match.

He rubbed his chin, pondering for a moment. Suddenly, a thought struck him.

Huge, burly creatures with dark blue skin, orange-red eyes, living in an icy world…

Jotunheim? Frost Giants?

No way… don't tell me I ended up in the Marvel Universe?!

He furrowed his brows, warning Kushina not to get too close once the female warrior woke up.

Then, using Yomotsu Hirasaka, he left Eden and returned to his previous location.

The several hulking, humanoid creatures who had just witnessed his disappearance were now standing blankly on the ice, muttering in their strange, guttural language.

The moment they saw him reappear, they excitedly howled.

Kei raised his hand, grabbing one of the humanoid creatures by the head.

A terrifying repulsive force erupted outward.

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

Like fireworks bursting in the air, the gigantic creatures were sent flying.

In an instant, they crashed into glaciers and turned into splattered chunks of meat. Closing his eyes, he read the memories of the creature he was holding.

A smirk appeared on his lips.

He had guessed right. It really was the Marvel Universe.

And judging by the information this creature had about Asgard, this was the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Casually, he tossed aside the frost giant, whose eyes had rolled back into his head due to the forced memory extraction, turning him into a complete idiot.

He was just about to use this information to track down Laufey, the King of Jotunheim, to gather more intel and find a way to Midgard.

Suddenly, a blindingly cold blue light, seemingly capable of freezing everything in its path, streaked across several kilometers and locked onto his position in an instant.

So strong!

The hairs on Kei's arms stood on end, and a long-lost sense of danger surged through him. Without hesitation, he activated Yomotsu Hirasaka and reappeared several kilometers away in the sky.

The moment that blue light struck the ground, it erupted into an explosion of extreme frost energy. Within seconds, everything within a few kilometers was completely frozen solid.

Even the frost giants, who had an incredibly high resistance to the cold and could even absorb frost energy, were turned into statues of ice, unable to move.

"So this is Laufey? Wasn't he supposed to be weak without the Casket of Ancient Winters?"

Standing a thousand meters above the ground, Kei took a deep breath as he surveyed the terrifying attack radius that spanned several kilometers. He quickly reevaluated the power levels in the Marvel Universe.

In the movies, Laufey seemed rather unimpressive but that was understandable. He wasn't a main character, so of course, the special effects budget wasn't spent on making him look cool.

But in the lore, this guy used the Casket of Ancient Winters to ambush and injure the All-Father Odin himself.

That was an All-Father-level being!

Even if it was a sneak attack, not just anyone could pull that off.

I need to take this seriously. Don't want to die in the Marvel Universe right after arriving.

RUMBLE—

Several kilometers away, an endless surge of frost energy gathered, and Laufey's body rapidly expanded hundreds of times in mere moments. In an instant, he transformed into a colossal frost giant over 200 meters tall.

"You who have slaughtered my kin, no matter who you are, you will not leave Jotunheim alive!"

His thunderous roar shook the heavens, and his words, infused with sorcery, translated directly into Kei's mind.

The skies darkened.

A fine mist of ice crystals rained down from above, each shard as sharp as a blade, trying to pierce through Kei's spiritual defenses and invade his body.

With a single hand seal, golden spiritual energy surged around Kei's body. In an instant, a colossal golden skeletal structure materialized around him.

More spiritual energy poured in, within moments, the giant armor-clad warrior took full form.

A giant Susanoo stood towering over Laufey, who froze in place.

THUD.

He had just lifted his left foot, but now, he hesitated. The size difference was akin to an adult facing a newborn baby.

Charging in was suicide. Not charging in was cowardice.

But he had already declared war, if he backed down now, how could he maintain his rule over Jotunheim?!

But… If he charged in and got brutally beaten down...

"Odin, your rule over the Nine Realms is absolute garbage! You yourself are garbage! FUCK YOU M—"

Laufey suddenly flipped off Asgard's direction and started screaming profanities.

"Frigga will one day be fucked by—"

Just as he was mid-rant, a blinding rainbow-colored beam of light tore through space and descended between him and Kei.

BOOM!

A massive burst of energy surged from the tip of Gungnir, sending Laufey flying.

A warrior clad in golden armor, riding a white horse, emerged from the Bifröst's rainbow light.

Odin had arrived.

The All-Father had initially planned to rebuke Laufey with righteous fury, but the moment he laid eyes on the gigantic golden Susanoo, his words caught in his throat.

Laufey, that cunning bastard, did he just bait me into a deathmatch?!
