Chapter 148 - Can You Help Me Pull This Up?

Bai Ningning thought that pulling a zipper should be a straightforward task, a quick tug that would slide up smoothly. She didn't expect Lingyin to approach it so solemnly at first, taking her time, gentle and cautious, as if afraid to touch her inappropriately.

As they reached the latter part, the zipper wouldn't budge at all.

"There's a small problem," Lingyin said anxiously, "I can't pull it up at the top."

In the latter part of the zipper, the whole garment was tightening, and Bai Ningning could clearly feel the collar constricting around her ample chest. The objective reason for the zipper not moving was that her chest was too large, causing it to get stuck.

But the subjective reason was—

"You're not using enough strength, it's too slow," Bai Ningning twitched her mouth, "Put some effort into it."

How could she pull the zipper without using force? Was she supposed to just delicately tease it?

Lingyin's fingers trembled, her voice shaky: "But I'm worried that if I use too much force, I might accidentally touch you."

Ever since she stood behind Bai Ningning to help with the zipper, her heart had been restless. In her mind, there seemed to be a cartoon dog head asking her a soul-searching question—

Did you touch her today?

Not yet, I really want to, but don't dare.

At that moment, she heard Bai Ningning say, "If you touch me, then you touch me; it's not like it's something that can't be touched."

Bai Ningning was also puzzled, thinking to herself that she wasn't a royal princess, and besides, they were both girls.

Could it be that fair skin is precious and shouldn't be touched?

"Alright, then I'll use some strength."

Lingyin gripped the zipper and pulled it up with force. The whole garment immediately tightened, and Bai Ningning felt a distinct constriction at the collar, making her chest feel even tighter.

It felt rounder.

"It seems pretty easy," Lingyin sighed in relief, "It's not as difficult as I imagined."

Of course, it wasn't; she had spent over an hour picking it out at the store yesterday and even had the tailor in the back make adjustments to ensure a perfect fit. How could it not be easy?

"How does it feel?" Lingyin asked her.

"It feels okay, but it seems like there's a bit of a problem," Bai Ningning turned around to face her, "Can you help me check?"

Lingyin looked.

She saw things she shouldn't have seen, at least not for free.

From this angle and distance, the impact was very strong.

Lingyin was momentarily stunned.

"I feel a bit uncomfortable, like there's a ribbon stuck inside," Bai Ningning swayed forward slightly. "Can you check if that's the case?"

She couldn't see it herself, as her view was blocked when she looked down.

Lingyin gasped; she could hardly believe this was real.

They say that when you work hard, even the heavens are on your side.

"There is a ribbon stuck," Lingyin swallowed nervously, "Should I help you take it out?"

Bai Ningning didn't mind and nodded directly.

"Go ahead."

...

Monday, the first day of the long weekend. Students were on break, employees were on leave, and naturally, the boss was off too.

Qin Yue got up and strolled around the courtyard, but eventually returned to bed, as there was really nothing to do.

Her girlfriend went to a club activity, and her sister went too. She picked up her phone, but none of her online friends were available; the whole world seemed to fall silent in an instant.

Qin's mom had previously mentioned turning the billiard room into a gym, but construction hadn't started yet. To be honest, Qin Yue didn't really like working out.

If she liked exercising, she wouldn't have her current level of fitness.

With nothing to do in her free time, Qin Yue returned to bed, browsing forums while thinking about the online friend named 00.

She had arranged for her beloved girl to go out, and with all the ideas she had given, she should be putting them to good use, right?

...

Lingyin didn't know how her hand ended up inside; she just knew that it felt like her hand was giving a full-body massage.

She was about to ascend to heaven.

"Did you get it?" Bai Ningning urged.

The chest also had its own sensations; Lingyin's hand moving around inside felt a bit strange.

"I got it, I got it," Lingyin quickly replied.

"Then you… take it out?"

"Oh, okay."

"Ah!"

Because of the garment, the chest was very tight, squished together. Trying to forcibly pull out the ribbon was a bit painful.

As soon as Lingyin heard Bai Ningning's cry of pain, she couldn't take it anymore and quickly thought of a solution: "No, let's pull the zipper down first, and then we can put it back on after fixing it."

Good idea, simple and clear, concise and effective. Once the zipper was down, Bai Ningning didn't even need Lingyin's help; she took out the troublesome ribbon herself.

"All done, President," she sighed in relief, "Can you zip it back up for me?"

Lingyin also sighed in relief: "As long as it's done, that's good."

But wait, is this really okay? If she hadn't suggested a solution earlier, her hand would probably still be stuck inside the chest, right?

Maybe she could have lingered there for several more minutes.

Oh no, that was hasty.

While Lingyin was regretting, Bai Ningning had already put on other things, like sleeves, leg bands, and white stockings, etc.

All set and ready to go.

"President, is it time for makeup next?"

"Ah, yes, that's right."

The two girls sat face to face at the vanity, starting to apply simple cosplay makeup. Bai Ningning's skin was as fair and delicate as her surname, requiring no foundation at all, so Lingyin simply skipped that step.

Her eyelashes were long like a row of small brushes, needing no false lashes; a light coat of mascara was enough.

As for that quiet little cherry mouth... Honestly, when that little mouth wasn't speaking, it was truly adorable.

Lingyin couldn't help but want to give it a kiss, but unfortunately, she ultimately lacked the courage.

Then the most critical part was that, due to the makeup, the two were sitting very close to each other, even closer than when they were helping with the ribbons earlier. At this distance, there was no need to lower their heads; just a slight glance downwards would draw one into the unfathomable snowy mountains.

It was as dazzling and beautiful as the sun in August.

"President," Bai Ningning suddenly spoke, "Do we need to do makeup on the pillow too, like adding a mole?"

Lingyin was slightly taken aback and quickly shook her head: "No, no, no, that's not necessary."

That kind of makeup would be too much, and if Lingyin really had to add a mole, her hand would definitely shake like she had Parkinson's.

"Oh, I thought you were considering giving me a mole," Bai Ningning blinked, "That's why you kept looking over there."

"...."

Stop looking, okay!

Ten minutes later, the girls finally relaxed.

"Done."

Thanks to Bai Ningning's natural beauty, they skipped many steps and finished the makeup in no time. Putting on a blue wig, Bai Ningning stood in front of the mirror, looking at the girl in the reflection.

A stunningly beautiful face, a petite yet curvy figure, and a cold demeanor that seemed a bit emotionless.

"Awesome, Bai Ningning," Lingyin couldn't help but say, "You absolutely look just like the character."
