"Students, the awakening of Sequence users is humanity's hope—but we must stay grounded and focus on our studies…"
Sequence awakening?
Qin Siyang immediately raised his hand, addressing his homeroom teacher who taught history.
"Qin Siyang, do you have a question?"
"Teacher, why hasn't a single classmate awakened a Sequence ability? How does one awaken?"
"We've covered this," the teacher frowned deeply. "The trigger for Sequence awakening remains unknown. If I knew, I'd have awakened myself by now."
A classmate interjected, "But I heard Zhou Yang's uncle in the next class awakened a Sequence ability! Why can't I?"
"That's Director Zhou! United Government officials naturally have higher rates of Sequence awakening!"
"But—"
"Enough! Focus on college entrance exams instead of delusions!"
When checking homework, the teacher found Qin Siyang's blank pages.
"All that chatter in class—I assumed you'd finished."
"No homework. Just impractical daydreams. Stand outside until you regain your senses!"
"Got it."
Qin Siyang left the classroom. Detention meant nothing to him. The hallway's quiet suited his purpose—to contemplate methods of Sequence awakening. He glanced through the window at distant Deities drifting through the starlit sky.
"If you're gods…does my rebirth count as divine providence?"
"By that logic, I'm practically a god myself." He smirked.
Suddenly, in the dark cosmic expanse, he glimpsed what seemed like a single eye slowly opening—and staring directly at him.
